Unit 2 What time is it?

一、课时目标

1.

能听、说认读单词：breakfast,lunch,dinner和词组PE class,English class,music class 2.

能听懂、会说句子

“What time is it?”, “It’s ....o’clock.””It’s time for.....”

3.

能听懂“Let’s do”部分的指令并做相应的动作。

4.

能了解世界各时区的时间差异，知道用英语读时间的方法。

5.

教育学生要严格遵守学校的规章制度，养成良好的作息习惯。

三、教学过程

Step 1 Warm-up 1.

Greetings the class as usual. 2.

Check the homework. 3.

Oral practice : T:Good morning,boys and girls.What time is it now? Ss:It’s ... T:It’s time for Emglish class.Let’s begin. 4.

Play the song”Our School” for students to listen and sing with it to act the class. Step 2 Preview 1.

Play the recording of “Part A Let’s do”in the last period to listen and act. 2.

The teacher says one sentence”Let’s fly.Let’s run.Let’s jump.” for students to listen and do the action. Step 3 Presention I.

A.Let’s

learn 1.

复习数字1~12。

2.

教学单词：breakfast,lunch和dinner。

教师将时钟调到8点，并用简笔画画出早上初升的太阳，说:”It’s 8:00 in the morning.I’m hungry.Let’s have breakfast.”

用同样的方法教学“lunch”和dinner。

3.

教学词组PE class,English Class和music class。

4.

教学句型“What time is it?”, “It’s ....o’clock.””It’s time for.....”

T：Look at the clock（教师指着黑板上的钟表）What time is it ?Oh it’s .....o’clock.( 教师自问自答，直接呈现新授句型）

T：Oh,It’s 11 o’clock.It’s time for lunch.I have fish and rice for my lunch,and you? S1:I have.....for lunch. S2:I have ....for lunch. 5.

Play the recording for the class to listen and repeat. 6.

Ask the students to practice in pairs.

II.

教学“Let’s do”

1.

教师每说一个单词或词组，学生听到后立即做出与之相应的动作，如师说“breakfast”或“time for breakfast”,生听到后做吃喝东西的样子。教师根据学生的动作，继续引导学生做“Drink some milk./Have some chicken./....”的动作。（注意再次强调“breakfast的发音。”）

The teacher shows the word cards for students to act according to the instructions.Then ask the students to do the actions in pairs. 3.

Ask some pairs of the students to come to the front of the class to do the actions according to the instructions ,and see which pair of the students will win. 4.

Play the recording for the students to listen and do the actions. Step 4 Consolidation &Extension 1.

Prctice reading the words. Ask the students to read the words in pairs. 2.

Practice reading the patterns. The teacher hint,eg.”It’s ....o’clock” for the students to draw some clocks in it.Then the teacher says “It’s time for ......”for the students to do the actions. 3.

Pair-work. Ask the students to do the actions in pairs. Step 5 Summary 师生共同总结本课时所学的知识，表扬课堂上表现好的学生。

Step 6 Homework 1.

Copy thewords and phrases learned in this period five times. 2.

Play the game “draw and write”.Then ask and answer in pairs according to the time and activities. 3.

Try to give the instructions in”Let’s do.”to partners and family,and ask them to do the actions. Blackboard Designs:
