教学内容分析：

故事内容呈现的是Zoom不受外界干扰，专心练习唱歌，并最终在唱歌考试中取得好成绩的故事。文中除了复习和巩固句型The singing test will be on May 4th. I can’t

…I want to…等，还通过图片和上下文拓展理解新句子Practice makes perfect. Will you come to the party? I want to practice my song. I need more practice . I’ll go swimming tonight.等。通过本文的学习学生既能理解新句型又能明白“熟能生巧”的意义。 学情分析：

五年级的学生在现有知识的基础上，已经能够根据影像资料和教师的引导准确理解故事的含义。在教师创设的情境中能根据所提问题一步步去观看视频、阅读故事去找到答案，能根据故事的发展领会到“Practice makes perfect.”的含义。但是在自己去读的环节中表现的不是很积极，经过调查发现：学生只对故事的内容感兴趣，在知道了故事情节是怎么回事以后，就不愿意动口去朗读了，“表演故事”也没能激起他们的朗读兴趣。好在能在老师设计的问题的引导下配合完成其他的教学活动。如何调动学生的“读”的兴趣将是下一步教学要努力解决的问题。

一、教学目标：

1、学生能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解故事内容，复习和巩固句型 The singing test will be on May 4th . I can’t...I want to ... 等。

2、扩展学习句型Practice makes perfect. Will you come to the party/play football with me after lunch? I want to practise my song. I need more practice. I’ll go swimming tonight，增加学生语言输入。

3、能够理解故事内容、朗读故事、表演故事，并能在语境中恰当运用故事中的语言。

4. 在故事语境中，通过Zoom 专心刻苦练习并最终在不擅长的唱歌考试中得到音乐老师称赞的经历，让学生了解英语谚语“Practice makes perfect.”的深刻含义。21cnjy.com 二、教学准备：PPT 词卡

四、教学步骤：

Step1: Warm-up 1.Enjoy a song. 2.交代任务：

Step2：Present the story. 1.Lead-in Look at the picture, what an imals do you see? The bird, Zoom, Zip, the Rabbit and the Cat. T: Who is the music teacher? Can Zoom sing well? 2.Watch and choose: The singing test will be on ______. A. April 30th B. May 4th

(教读，检查读) 3.分析Zoom的情绪。

4.梳理日期。
