三、教学示例

1．导入示例 3’

提问：Do you and your students look the same ?

What is the same ? Are there differences between you and them ? 然后出示本班相貌差别较大的两名学生照片（或站出两名学生），并问：

Do you think they lool similar ?

Do you know they are cousins ? 激发学生浓厚的兴趣，自然而然地引出课题：

Why do some students look different ? And why do cousins look similar ? Because of DNA . 2．重点突破示例

patterns from your parents’ DNA.(repeats ) 听录音，自己核对答案进行自我评价。目的是激发学生的兴趣，锻炼学生的听力，同时使学生用英语思维去理解课文。

Except 除了……之外，它要求排除的是同类，
