Listening and Speaking — Retelling: A Bedtime Story

1. 教材分析

本节课我主要是针对广东英语高考听说考试中的考试题型【故事复述】进行训练，从而教授学生故事复述的技巧和方法。广东高考听说考试Part C故事复述部分，要求考生先听一段大约两分钟的独白，录音播放两遍，考生准备一分钟之后开始复述所听的内容，要求考生尽可能使用自己的语言复述，而且复述内容应涵盖尽可能多的原文信息点，选取的独白体裁以记叙文为主。本课我选取的复述材料是动画片《小猪佩奇》第2季中的一集"Bedtime Story"（睡前故事），我截取的是佩奇给弟弟乔治讲故事的那段，由于整个故事篇幅较长，为了减低学生复述故事的难度，我把它设计成为两个较短的故事让学生进行复述训练。

2. 学生分析

通过之前几节听说课的指导，加上每周一次早读课听说模拟题的训练，我们班的学生对高考听说考试的要求已经有所了解，但他们的英语水平和口语水平参差不齐，对于第三部分Part C的故事复述，由于之前的课还没有专门讲到关于这部分的技巧和方法，很多学生仅仅只是停留在听的层面，少部分学生能听懂部分内容并复述有限的若干句句子，程度较差的学生几乎是完全放弃，全听不懂，说不出。总体来说，学生感觉这部分的内容会比较难，没有形成有效的技巧。

3. 教学目标

Step 1. Lead-in

Get Ss to watch a video about Peppa Pig and try to answer the question: What

would Peppa do for George?

【设计意图】

运用“小猪佩奇”动画片导入课题，有利于引起学生的注意力，激发他们学习英语的兴趣。学生通过观看视频并尝试捕捉关键信息回答问题，可以训练自己的听力及捕捉信息能力。

Step 2. Listening and taking notes Task 1. Revision: T sums up and helps Ss review some skills in taking notes quickly and do the related exercises.

【设计意图】

旨在让学生回忆之前学过的三个“速记技巧”，通过相关练习熟悉并掌握各种速记符号与方法，为之后的听力与复述练习做准备。

【设计意图】

本题设计要求学生根据所听到的句子内容围绕who, when, where, what, why和how几方面进行捕捉信息，迅速记下重要的信息点，从而培养学生良好的听取信息的能力。

【设计意图】

在训练前提醒学生复述故事时要围绕who, when, where, what, why,how进行，从而明确故事线索，帮助学生明确技巧：在听第一遍时速记最重要的信息点，第二遍使整个故事完整，覆盖尽可能多的信息点，从而为下面的听说内容做铺垫。

以《小猪佩奇讲睡前故事》视频为素材，训练学生复述故事的能力。

由于所选的故事较长，若是要学生一次性复述整个故事，难度较大，因此，我把视频材料中的睡前故事分别设置为两个相关联的小故事，让学生分别复述，有效地降低了任务难度。

本环节先是要求学生在听前要抓住所给的梗概和关键词，并围绕叙事性文章的六要素（who, what, where, when, why, how)进行预测，做到心中有数，找出故事的线索。接着通过“听力问答”锁定故事的关键信息，帮助学生有目的、有意识地去听，并在听的过程中，学生通过有效的速记方法，对关键信息进行速记，以便有效地进行复述。运用小组合作的方法，可以使获得的信息更加完整。

的理解，也是对学生所学技巧的进一步巩固和反馈。

8. 教学反思

广东高考英语听说考试中的复述故事环节，一直以来是大部分学生的弱项，它不仅考查学生对篇章的整体理解和把握，还考查学生是否能够运用自己的语言组织要点信息，并用尽可能多的原文信息点表达，这就要求学生必须培养良好的听取信息、整理信息和传达信息的能力。据此，我设计了本节课，旨在提高学生的复述能力。本节课中，我选取了画风轻松有趣的动画片《小猪佩奇》为素材，先帮学生复习了速记的几个方法并辅以练习巩固，接着通过一道“听力填空”练习提醒学生如何捕捉重点信息，并授予他们故事复述的几个技巧。本节课的重点是让学生复述佩奇讲的睡前故事，具体流程为：让学生明确复述技巧——听第一个故事——捕捉重要信息——分享笔记——复述故事——听第二个故事——捕捉信息——分享笔记——复述故事。各个环节相对独立，又环环相扣，层层递进。从技巧点拨到全面提升，使不同水平的学生都有机会参与课堂，从而使学生掌握复述故事的技巧，从而提高其听说能力。
