Writing --寓言故事&成语故事

Teaching aims：

1,Let students know another kind of writing--write according to the provided picture; 2, Enable students to tell a story of a certain idiom and say out the message from the Chinese story; 3,Through this lesson, students are aware of that this kind of writing will probably show up in 2018 CEE. Teaching important points: 1,Help the students tell the story by themselves; 2,How to let students know that there are many kinds of expressions for one certain meaning. Teaching difficult points: 1,Help students to organize their composition; 2,How to let students know that using linking expressions can smooth their composition and make it better. Teaching methods:

Task-based method,individual work, group work and practising. Teaching aids: Multi-media computer Teaching procedures: Step1: Lead-in Lead the students to recall those compositions related to Chinese culture they have ever written before. Step2：Ask students to speak out the story of “SHA JI QU LUAN”

Step3:show the most common version of the story on the screen.And compare the version from the Internet with the picture provided on the paper. Help students to find out the difference. Step4: confirm three things before writing. 1,How many paragraphs will be included in your composition? Two 2,Person(人称): in the third person&in the first person 3.Tense（时态）：

simple past tense&simple present tense

Step5: do the writing sentence by sentence. Each sentence, students will be given 3-5 minutes to translate and they are supposed to translate them in two or three different sentence patterns. Step6:students need to use some linking words link all of the sentences. Step7:homework Change some of the requirements of the original writing. Ask students to write a letter or an email instead of just a simple passage. Before: 某英语报开展用英语讲中国成语故事的征文活动，请根据图画和提示写一篇投稿短文。

1. 故事：杀鸡取金蛋；

2. 寓意：不要贪图眼前的好处而不顾长远利益。

注意：词数100左右。
