《高中英语新课程标准》（以下简称《新课标》）在英语阅读技能七级目标中要求：学生能从一般性文章中获取和处理主要信息；学生能理解文章主旨和作者意图。写作教学方面，能用所学词汇句型写有关节日的文章 教学背景分析

（一）教学内容分析：

本片文章选自BOOK6MODULE5中的Reading and vocabulary 的内容“Frankenstein’s Monster”。文章总体分为两部分，PART1介绍了整个故事的梗概，PART2是整部小说的一个节选，主要描叙了Frankenstein 完成了作品，即科学怪人时的情景，以及双方的举动和感受。

（二）重难点分析：

本节课重点：通过带领学生学习这篇文章，让学习懂得从文章中学习做高考题型的方法，包括语法填空，改错，阅读理解以及写作。

本节课难点：既让学生完成教学重点内容，又让学生在有限的课堂时间内对这篇小说节选的主题有深刻理解。

解决措施：在分析时教师进行不断的引导；设计练习架设台阶；依据小说情节铺垫情感，让学生顺其自然有感而发。

（三）学生情况分析：

知识基础：在这节课学习本片文章之前，学生已经看过科学怪人这部电影，所以学生对故事整体内容并不陌生，甚至可以流畅地表达对这部电影的感受。但是对于文章中具体描叙人物的动作，心情等词汇，句型，甚至虚拟语气却不熟悉。

心理基础：对克隆等科学话题很感兴趣，但用相关词汇与语法表达情感有一定的畏难情绪。

（四）教学方式：

本节课通过“接触、模仿范例练习和自由表达思想”三个步骤来组织读写教学，即通过阅读让学生接触文中的作者怎么运用美妙的英语语法句型来表达其情感，然后让学生模仿进行练习，最后，学生自己能口述并能写出原文好句，且利用这些句子表达对克隆这个话题的个人看法。

---目的：通过让学生做高考题型中的改错，对这一段落中出现的小说描叙的时间地点人物背景等细节有更深刻的学习。同时了解改错题型的考法，并掌握此段的词汇和句型。

Frankenstein的感受和科学怪人的情感对比；双方的矛盾激化导致高潮部分的出现，并最终导致小说中两个主角命运的悲惨结局。

2.在填写表格同时使学生自己动手写出新词汇及句型，达到学习词汇目标。

阅读课的目的就是最大限度的调动学生的主动性和积极性，激发学生的思维，帮助学生掌握学习方法，培养学习的学习能力，为学生发挥自己的聪明才智创造必要的条件。通过这节课的讲授，学生顺利完成了学习目标，也领会了高考题型源于课本，一定要扎实学好每篇文章。
