3. 学习、理解句型:wish sb. could be ... 4. 了解不同国家儿童节的特色,对其活动进行描述:In ...(country), children ... (do) 5. 感受不同国家的儿童节特色及其丰富多彩,体会人们对儿童的美好祝愿。

文本内容:

Children's Day around the world are different. In Thailand, Children’s Day is on the second Saturday of January. Children like to watch elephant shows. The elephants can ride and draw. They can play football and basketball. They are super and clever. People wish the children could be super and clever too. Everyone has fun! How wonderful! In Japan, there are two Children’s Days. The Children’s Day for girls is on the third of March. Girls have some nice dolls. People wish the girls could be nice and beautiful.

The Children’s Day for boys is on the fifth of May. Boys fly colourful kites. The kites look like strong fish. People wish the boys could be strong too. In Japan, boys and girls have different Children's Days. Everyone has fun! How wonderful!
