第1课时(Story time)

一、教学内容：五上 Unit2 A new student(Story time) 二、教学目标：

1.知识目标：

（1）能听懂、会说、会读词汇show…around, floor，art room, classroom, computer room, library, music room, playground student, second, third, first. （2）正确运用日常交际用语和句型Can you show her around? How many…? Is there a …? Yes. There is. No. there isn’t.Are there any…? Yes, there are. No, there aren’t. Let’s go and…

2.技能目标：

理解，掌握对话内容，用正确的语音语调朗读对话，初步表演对话。

3.情感态度目标：

让学生在日常生活的情景中感受英语，激发学生对英语的兴趣。

三、教学重难点：

1.能正确理解对话内容，流畅地朗读对话，初步表演对话。

2.掌握故事中的重点词汇和句子，并运用于生活当中。

四、教学具准备：

1.教师准备：PPT，录音机，磁带，词汇卡和图片，板书。

2.学生准备：听3遍Story time 录音。

五、教学过程：

Step1.Warming-up 1.Greetings. 2.Enjoy the pictures（PPT播放有关学校场所的图片）

T: Boys and girls, what are the pictures about? Ss: Our school. 3.Talk about our school. T: What’s in our school?学生用There be句型描述自己所学过的场所。

出示并复习单词library, classroom, playground Step2 Presentation 1.Guessing game Learn the new words: art room, computer room, music room. T:There are many computers in the room, all the students like there . There is a piano in this room, we often sing songs in the room.There are many beautiful pictures in the room, we often draw pictures in this room.学生猜谜，引出生词教学。出示六个生词，学生读词。

2.Ask and answer PPT出示本校学校平面示意图，结合新授单词，对学校场所进行问答，熟悉生句。

T: Is there a library? S: Yes, there is. T: Are there any table tennis rooms? S: No, there aren’t. 3.揭示课题

T: Boys and girls, we know our school, but Nancy doesn’t know, she is a new student.PPT出示Nancy人物形象、Unit2 A new student揭示课题，带读。

4.播放Picture 1课文录音。

T：Who will show her around the school? Learn “show...around”

T: If you were Nancy, can you ask some questions about new school? 引导学生利用新授句型，进行提问。

S：Is there a …? S: Are there any …? 5.Task1: Watch and tick T: What rooms are they talking about? Let’s watch the cartoon and tick the place.看课文动画，找出文中所谈论的地点。进一步学习单词classroom、computer room、library、music room、table tennis room、art room。

6.Task 2: Read and find

T: Where are these rooms? Which floor? How many? Let’s read and match. Teach: the first floor, the second floor, the third floor （PPT出示图片）集体核对答案

7.两人一小组ask and answer操练句型

Is there / Are there ...in the school? How many...are there? There is/are .... Where is / are the...? It’s on the ... floor. Step3. Consolidation 1.Task1: I can read. (1) Read after the tape. (2)Read in groups多种方式朗读课文。

(3) 角色扮演，给动画配音。

2.Task2:Try to retell. 假如你是Nancy，你来介绍一下自己的学校。结合板书，尝试复述课文。

3.写作练习：看板书，仿照例句，选两三个地点，介绍Nancy的学校。

（书上write and say的内容，借助板书和课件上的句型提示，进行书写练习。）

说出所学的单词和句型，以及复述课文
