(Story time) 一、教学目标

1. 能听懂、会读、会说和会写词汇clean, cook, busy。

2. 能听懂、会读、会说词汇parent, clean the car, clean the table, sweep the floor, wash the dishes。

3. 初步感知现在进行时和初步了解动词的现在分词构成。

4. 理解故事内容，能流利地朗读并在教师的引导和帮助下复述课文内容。

5. 能正确地理解并朗读对话内容，在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

二、教学重点：能初步用句型What are you/they doing?、What is he/she doing?及其回答I am/We/They are/He/She is doing …。

三、教学难点：初步感知现在进行时和初步了解动词的现在分词构成。

四、教学过程

Step 1 Pre-reading 1. Greeting （课前三分钟，汇报-提问）

2. Think and talk T: Amy likes helping her parents, do you like helping your parents? (YES/NO) Today we’ll learn Unit5 Helping our parents. What housework can you do to help your parents? (We can …) Teach : clean the car, clean the table, make the bed, sweep the floor, wash clothes, wash the dishes.（新授词组）

3. Play a game T: Great! We can do a lot of things. Now, let’s play a game. What is he/she doing?（请用动作表演抽到的卡牌上的家务，其他人猜一猜He/She is …ing.）

【设计意图：利用课前三分钟的自我介绍打开学生的思维，通过“头脑风暴，你做我猜”的游戏调动学生的学习激情，同时帮助他们复习已有的知识，为接来下1

Step 2 While-reading 1.

Watch and choose T: You did a good job. Look, what is Mike doing now? He is cleaning the car. What about his family members? What are they doing now? Please watch the cartoon and choose “How many people are there in the story?”

T: That’s right. There are six people in the story. Who are they? Do you remember? 【设计意图：通过观察课文插图，观看动画，找出主要人物，帮助学生理清故事中的人物关系。同时特别指出小狗也是他们中的家庭成员之一，提升情感。更为教学中的难点Ben, the dog is sleeping.打下埋伏。】
