S: Good morning, Miss Lu. Play the first video while both students and teacher introduce the topic Fun Time1 Recycle 1. 2.
Set the situation and introduce the tasks. T: Before we start the lesson, I wanna tell you a story. Yesterday after work, I was soooo tired. I was in the living room and then I fell asleep. I had a dream in the sleep. I came into the wonderland.
Teacher introduces the wonderland using a cartoon character of herself.
T: In the wonderland, I saw many animals. There’s a dog, a pig and even a dinosaur. I kept going and then I met a monkey. His name is April. (MONKEY WITH A BOX)
S: Hi, April! T: And suddenly April is gone. Only a box left. But is there really a box? Can you find it for me? Students find the box and bring it to the front. One of the students opens the box. Some balloons fly out with three TASK CARD tied.
T: Do you want to come to the wonderland?

S: Yes! T: Then you need to finish the three tasks first. When you finish them all, you can go to the wonderland. Remember, when you answer one question correctly, you can get one sticker. Stick it on the board. Work hard guys! Don’t forget our slogan Wonderland, Wonderland, Fun! Fun! Fun!

Task 1 Let’s check. Watch, listen and check. (1)
T: I’m going to show you a video about countries. And I see you have 8 cards of countries. Which country shows firstly, please watch carefully and tell me. You need to cooperate. And now you have 30s to see the cards.
Play the video. Check the answers. Students should answer the questions with a sentence
pattern. I’m from…
For example, teacher says FIRST! Students stand up and answer I’m from China. The first one who stands up and answers the question correctly can win a sticker for his/ her group.

Listen& Match. T: You’ve done a really good job. Now let’s listen to the record and match the country with the person. You can paste it next to his/her name on the board.

Task 3 Let’s listen and match.
Play a record and let students repeat what they’ve heard.
S: Who’s that man/ woman? Show them a family tree and ask Who’s that woman? pointing grandmother.
T: What’s the Chinese meaning of grandmother?

T: How about grandfather? Let students translate all the people in the family tree. And SUDDENLY hide all of them and let them match. If they got wrong, the stickers will accumulate.
