Students in Grade 6 are the learners of this lesson. They have learned the words “tree”

“stop”

and “grass”

and the sentences “January is the first month of the year” and “February is the second month of the year.” It’s easy for them to learn. Students are active and curious for new things. We have to make more interesting activities to prolong their attention time. Make a real situation ---- please help me to DIY a picture book in your group 教学策略

DIY a picture book of festivals. Then I

will tell her stories in it. OK? OK. Please try your best to get more eggs(stickers). At the end of this class, the group who gets the most eggs, you can choose the task bag first. 设计意图:

先用一首歌曲活跃气氛,这首歌中出现的日期正好契合我们现在所讲的知识,可以进行复习;另外,通过这首歌引出对话,同学们一起说一说自己的生日,活跃气氛,放松心情,再通过猜老师女儿的生日复习旧知——月份和日期。

皮亚杰的认知发展阶段理论认为,六年级的孩子思考能力正在向成熟阶段发展,他们渴望被认同,渴望寻找到自我价值。于是,我设计了“帮我做一本绘本,用来给女儿读故事”的任务,激发他们的学习兴趣和胜负欲,积极投入到课堂中来。

What can we do in March? We can have a picnic, go on a

通过复习十二个月导入新知,以旧带新,新旧结合,自然过渡到“三月”,并通过问答、图片、视频等带领同学们从天气、事物、行为等方面导入植树节,并自己说出植树的原因。遵循综合语言能力形成的心理和生理发展过程,利用多媒体教学,听觉和视觉的多重感官刺激,帮助学生理解课文内容。人类感官对信息的理解程度因刺激的方式不同而不同,视觉占83%,听觉占11%,触觉占3%,味觉2%,嗅觉1%,而综合刺激才能产生最佳效果,提高教学质量。

既多了解了三月的又一个节日,也由此引出四月的写法和名称,同学们在意境中理解该词的意义,加深记忆。

Step 3 1. Guessing game Presentation According the tips please guess what festivals are in April.(Present the tips.)

I’ll give you 2 minutes to talk about Easter.(From time, it lasts, symbols and activities.)

April Fool’s Day. Qingming Festival. Easter.

Easter is in March or April. It lasts a week long. The symbols are bunnies and eggs. We can play egg-hunt and egg-roll during Easter. 设计意图:

在老师带领下学习了三月及其节日,本次老师把机会给同学们,让他们在小组讨论合作中,进行头脑风暴和知识的碰撞,最终得出关于Easter的一些结论。体现了“教、扶、放”的教学原则,在互动合作中体验交流的乐趣和成功的喜悦。

Step 4 Practice 1. Egg-hunt There are 2 eggs in the classroom. 5 group leaders try to find them. Please open it and read the subject out.

2. Two tasks. ①

DIY your own picture book Let’s check which group the best one is. You can choose the task bag first.

(Look for the eggs)

Match the pictures and the activities Choose the best answer. (Students come to the Notebook and do the tasks, then we’ll check together.)

(Students discuss in the groups and write something about March and April in the circle and write the same parts between them in the middle part.

(Students choose the bag and DIY picture book in their groups by using glue, paper and pictures.) 设计意图:

同学们在上前展示的过程中,培养了团队合作的能力,也复习了一遍本节课所学知识。最后的情感升华,使同学们更加热爱生活,珍惜时间,增强信心,学有所成。

分层作业,体现了因材施教的教学理念。

课后反思:

基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是通过各种教学活动,激发和培养学生学习英语的爱好,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习的能力与合作创新的精神,培养学生综合运用英语的能力。

我在课堂上为学生营造了一个轻松有趣的学习氛围,促使学生积极主动地学习英语,利用电子白板,使学生在体验和实践中习得和生成,将所学的知识自然有效地运用于生活实际中。 本课也有一些不足之处有待改正。

1.个别提问覆盖面小。对于重点句型的提问最好能够提问到每一位同学给每位同学都有表现的机会,但是由于时间问题和后期的小组合作操练较多,我压缩了本课前半部分的单个提问时间。今后应该更加合理地分配时间,争取给每位同学和老师共同交流的机会。

2. 在最后的DIY部分,分配时间较短,部分小组还没有完成成品,因此正在其他小组做对话的时候没有认真听,使课堂稍显混乱;另外,也影响了部分小组的发挥。今后应该注意,在培养学生自我能力的任务上应多留出时间。
