教学过程(The teaching process):
Step1.Revision
1.Greetings:
T: Good morning,everyone!
Ss: Good morning,Miss Jing!
T: How are you?
Ss: I’m fine,thank you.And you?
T: Not bad,thanks!
2.Ask and answer:
T(point the dress and ask):What’s this?
Ss:It’s a dress.
T: What colour is it?
Ss: It’s black.
T: Is it long?
Ss: No, it’s short.
Step2. Presentation
1.New words
Draw a picture of elephant.
T:What’s this?
Ss: It’s an elephant.
Learn the word - elephant.
Learn other animals in the same way.
(bear, tiger, rabbit ,deer)
Ask one pupil to act the animal.
2.The new sentences.
T: Is this a bear?
Ss: Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.
Read the sentences.
Change the words.
①Teacher ask and pupil answer.
②Boys ask and girls answer.
③Pupils ask and teacher answer.
④Ask and answer one by one in a line.
Teacher stand far from the picture and ask:“Is that a bear?”Pupils answer:Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.
Read the sentences.
Change the words.
Step3:Drills
Practice the sentences with your deskmates. “Is this ...?” or “Is that ...?”
Step4:A game
“Is that an elephant?”
