一.教学目标: 1.知识目标:
能够在学习对话的过程中,感知、理解交际用语和词汇。
单词: be, all, Chinese. 重点句型: I am from Jilin. I’m good at singing. We are a big family. 2.能力目标: 让孩子初步了解地理知识,了解各地风俗,并培养学生用英语进行简单交流的能力,以听、说、读、演的方式,鼓励学生积极参与,大胆表达,通过语言交际,真正培养学生的语言运用能力。
3.情感目标: 通过本课学习,了解我国是多民族国家, 激发爱国之情。
二.学情分析: 四年级学生有一定的知识积累,学习英语热情高,在学习了be from 句型之后,学习be good at 句型,由简入难,循序渐进。在本节课中,我着力通过动作、图片、语言等形式,帮助学生理解文本内容,巩固语言知识,创设一定情境,提升语言能力。
三.重点难点:
重点:在阅读过程中,能根据关键词理解课文,并能使用关键词复述课文; 难点:be good at 句型的灵活运用。
四. 教学过程:
1.
导入: ①. 板书课题: Today we’ll learn
“ Lesson 4 We are a big family. ” Please take out your fingers and write after me.
T: There are three people in your family, your father, your mother and you. You are a family. We are in Class 1,Grade 4.We are family. Class 1,Grade 4 is a family. We are all from China. We are a big family.
【设计意图】从学生熟悉的话题切入,利用地图导入核心词汇family,为新课的学习做好准备。
②. Look, this is a map of China. We are from China. We are Chinese. And here is Henan. Where are you from? Ss: I’m from Henan(Luoyang, Shandong, Shenzhen……) Very good. Where is Miss Li from? Please look and say. ③. 老师做动作,请学生说出:Miss Li is from Xinjiang (Yunnan, Tibet, Taiwan.) Miss Li is good at dancing. I can dance well. I like dancing. 【设计意图】了解动词ing的构成,为学生扫除阅读障碍,并为运用be good at 句型的做好了铺垫。
2.学习第一段第二段:
Today I have some friends. Let’s go and make friends with them.
活动1:学习第一段第二段:听录音,初步了解中国的地域差异及民俗. (教师拿出新疆吉林女孩的图片)介绍新疆吉林女孩
T:
I’m from Xinjiang . I’m good at singing.
I’m from Jilin . I’m good at dancing. 请同学拿图片介绍自己。
活动2: 自读第一段第二段,提问:
T: If you want to make friends , how to do? First, introduce yourself, please. Second, ask some questions. Third, say: Let’s be friends, OK? T: Who want to be a Xinjiang girl and who want to be a Jilin girl? How to make friends? S1:
I’m from Xinjiang.
I’m good at singing.
Are you from Xinjiang, too?
S2:No, I’m
from Jilin. I’m good at dancing.

学生自读课文第一段第二段 ,理解交朋友的方法,并且能够灵活运用。 3.学习第三段第四段:
活动1:Let’s go on to Paragraph 3 and paragraph 4. Open your books and read after me. 活动2:(拿出黑龙江的人物。)Look at this picture, can you ask “Are you from……?”What are you good at?”

We’re good at fishing. 【设计思路】从单数过渡到复数,通过师生问答,生生问答等多种形式拓展练习,使学生理解,并学会在具体的语境中使用词汇。
活动3:

6.Please speak loudly after me: We are from China. We are all Chinese. We are a big family. We love China.
【设计意图】在潜移默化中,学生了解到了自己的祖国是多么辽阔,自己就生活在这个幸福的大家庭里。
