一、教学目标:

知识目标:掌握 card , gifts ,send ,find

等。能正确听说读写短语:get ready for , help sb do,be going to do, send sth to sb ...的用法。

Learn to sing :We wish you a Merry Christmas.

能力目标:能够用所学词汇和句子进行对话,能写圣诞卡与人交流。

情感目标: 通过课堂上的活动,激发学生对英语学习的积极性和主动性,培养他们乐于竞争,乐于交流,乐于合作的能力。

二、教学重难点:

重点:掌握李明所写贺卡的内容并运用所学知识写一张贺卡,感受中西文化差异在节日上的体现。

难点:一般现在时,一般过去式,一般将来时的正确使用。

三、教具学具:单词卡片、若干图片、录音机

四、教学过程:

Step1、Class opening and Review

2. Review Ask for a volunteer and lead a dialogue

① When is Christmas ? ② What do you do on Christmas ?

Step2、New concept

1. Christmas is coming. Then lead a dialogue.

Sing a song for Christmas.We wish you a merry Christmas!

2. Take some time to talk about Christmas cards. Use the in formation in the Teaching Tip to help you .

Make sure the students understand that exchanging Christmas cards is a huge part of the Christmas tradition in the West.在训练句型的同时,进行情感教育—送别人东西时尽量选别人喜欢的。

3. 介绍如何写圣诞卡, 示范给朋友写圣诞卡。

4.Students listen to the tape and repeat the text .完成探究学习第一题。

5.Let the students make and write a Christmas card in Part3. After they finished,they can share their cards in small groups.评选最美贺卡,最温馨贺卡,并要求学生将贺卡送出去。

Step3根据本课内容,在教师指导下,对中西文化差异进行对比。让学生了解,不同国家有不同的文化背景,而节日是文化背景下的产物,即使同节日也有不同的庆祝方式。

结合本课以及上课内容,回顾昨天做过的事情,预测明天打算做的事情。
