My Body (The 1st period)
Teaching aims 1.
Knowledge aims At the end of the class, the Ss will be able to: (1) Learn the words about head: eye, ear, face, mouth, nose, head. (2) Master sentence structures: - It has a head.
(3) Learn the sentence structures: -These are the eyes. 2. Ability aim Improve the abilities of speaking and listening according to the cooperation teaching method. 3. Emotional aims (1) Encourage the students to be interested in English. (2) Tell the students to introduce the animals. Key points 1.

Teaching process Step 1 Warming up and Revision Sing the chant “What do you have?” to start the new lesson, and then greet each other.
(Purpose: Use the chant to start the new lesson, and make the Ss interested in English. Because it can help students review what we have learnt before , At the same time, it can tell the students what we will learn today.) Step2 Leading in and presentation 1.
Lead the students to review the word bear, then lead the students to learn new word ear. T: What’s this?
Ss: It’s a bear.
T: Is it a bear? Lead the students to learn new word ear. Let the students know “ear”, then use a game “blow balloons” to practice the word, it’s the best way for the Ss in Grade Three. It can also make the students easy to remember the word. Then
teach them the sentence: I have a toy. 2.
Let the students listen to write the word “face”. Lead them to say “I have a face. Look! It’s my face. 3.

(Purpose: In the part, the teacher use the phonics to teach new words .Use the different kinds of games to use the new words like “I have a face. At the same time, the games can make the students interested in English. English is a kind language, so speaking English well is more important, and the Ss the best way to learn words is putting the words into the sentences. And it can practice the key sentences in the part.) Step 3 Practice 1.
Listen and do Ask the students to listen to the teacher, and do the action. Lead the students to answer the question with “ I have a….”

Play a game (P5) Use the game to make the students remember the words. 3.

Ask the students to listen to the teacher, and try to make new conversations according the words in the class. 4.
Pair wok Ask the students to make up their conversations. (Purpose: The teacher sets up four activities to improve their abilities of listening, writing and speaking.
And tell the students the best way to learn words is putting the words into the sentences.) Step4 Expansion and Consolidation (p5) According to the drawing game, expand the new sentence structures. 1.
The teacher draws the head on the blackboard, and then calls a student to help her to finish the picture with the sentences: It has a…/two eyes. Exchange the roles, let the students ask the teacher with “Does it have a…?”
Step5 Summary Use a song to summarize the lesson, and make the students easy to master the key points in the lesson.
