我所授课的内容是六年级Book 8 Unit 3 Lesson 13 Summer Is Coming!在课堂上,我主要采用多样化的教学手段,利用歌曲、游戏、chant、work-pairs等将听、说、玩、演溶于一体,激发学生学习英语的兴趣和愿望,使学生通过合作学习体验荣誉感和成就感从而树立自信心,发展自主学习的能力。

基于本课的大部分单词句型之前有所学习,结合六年级学生好动,好奇,表现欲旺盛等心理特点,我在教法设想上坚持以情境教学为核心,以任务型活动贯穿教学始终,运用直观教学法,游戏教学法,帮助学生在听、说、读、玩、演等趣味活动中,相互合作,体验参与,自主的、愉快的学习英语,发展能力,维持兴趣。

1、知识目标

学生能够会听、说、读、写下列单词: happen,leaf(leaves),lose,fan。巩固学过的季节名称、天气形容词及相关动词短语;

学生能够灵活掌握下列句型:What season is it?What happens to…?I like to…。

2、能力目标

通过学习使学生能够运用英语描述每个季节的特征及每个季节所做的运动,并能表达自己喜爱的季节。

3、情感目标

引导学生积极学习英语,激发学生学习英语的兴趣和愿望。培养学生热爱美丽多变的大自然的情感。

学生能够掌握重点单词、短语和句型,进行表达交流。

2、教学难点:

熟练地运用英语描述四季的特点及夏天可以做的活动。

Step 1 Greetings

T: Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Hello, Miss Wang.

T: How are you? Ss: Fine, thank you. And you? T: Very well,thank you. Are you happy today? Ss: Yes!

T:I am happy,too. What day is it today?How's the weather today?

Ss:…….

(师生相互问候,帮助学生自然进入英语学习状态,活跃课堂氛围,拉进师生间距离。)

Step2 Warming up T: Today we will learn a new lesson about seasons. Do you know seasons?

Ss: Yes!. T: OK! First, let’s sing a song together. Ss: ……

( 通过歌曲热身,给学生营造一种轻松愉快的学习氛围,尽快融入到所教知识中去,为接下来的季节教学作铺垫。)

Step3 Lead-in Play a guessing game T: Just now, we sing a season song. Do you know about each season? Next, let’s play a guessing game! What season is it? Look at my PPT.

(教师出示PPT课件,学生根据提示猜测季节,归纳季节的气候特点。)

T: Ok! You are wonderful! Now let me ask you some questions.

How many seasons are there in a year?

What are they?

What’s your favourite season?Why?

(学生通过游戏复习巩固四季的特点,表达自己的喜好。这样做激发了学生学习的兴趣,使学生对教学任务有了清晰的感知。)

(利用Mr.Tree创设情境,激发学生的学习兴趣,导入教学内容。)

Ss:In spring,the weather is warm. Trees have new leaves.

In summer,the weather is hot. Trees have green leaves.

In autumn,the weather is cool. Trees lose their leaves.

In winter,the weather is cold. Trees don’t have any leaves.

(学生根据图片回答教师问题,总结树在四季的不同变化。)

T:We have known Mr.Tree has different characters in different seasons. Let’s have a chant! Are you ready? The warm season is spring. Trees have new leaves. The hot season is summer. Trees have green leaves. The cool season is autumn. Trees lose their leaves.

The cold season is winter. Trees don’t have any leave. Four seasons make a year, make one year !

(通过自编Chant,韵感强、节奏轻快,受到孩子的喜爱,很好地操练并巩固了本课的教学重点,突破了难点。)

Part two 

T:Do you know what's my favourite season?Can you guess?I like summer best. In summer, I can do many things. For example, I like to swim. I like to wear my beautiful dress. I like to eat ice cream. They are summer fun. What’s your summer fun? What do you like to do in summer? Let’s review some key points.

(学生利用图片提示操练句型,教师归纳要点:like/ love sth. 喜欢/喜爱某物;like/love to do sth. 喜欢/喜爱做某事。可根据学生接受情况拓展:like/love doing sth. 喜欢/喜爱做某事。)

Step6 Homework Please draw a picture about seasons then write a short passage to describe your picture. 根据今天的教学内容,绘制一幅关于四季的图画并围绕图画写一篇小短文。
