9 快乐英语Book 9(一起九) 一、教学目标：

1、知识目标：

(1)能听懂、会说、会读、会写四会单词：turkey、drink、eat、moon cake、enjoy. (2)能听懂、会说、会读以下词组：Thanksgiving Day、pumpkin pie、Mid-autumn Day. (3)能熟练掌握句子“Are you going to …”句型及其回答。

2、能力目标：

通过学习本课的基本句式，培养学生的观察能力和创新精神。

3、情感目标：

培养学生乐于了解中西方文化的兴趣和差异。

二、教学重、难点：

1、教学重点：

(1)能听懂、会读单词Thanksgiving Day, Mid-autumn Day, pumpkin pie, turkey。

(2)能熟练运用“Are you going to…”句型及其回答。

2、教学难点：

能熟练将“Are you going to…?”句型及其相应的回答运用到对话中。

四、教学过程：

Step 1 Warming up and lead -in. 1.Greeting. T：Hello, boys and girls. Glad to meet you! 2.Free talk

T：I often go to the bookstore on weekends. I’m going to buy a new CD…What are you going to do?

(复习“What are you going to do?的提问。谈论孩子们自己的生活。用孩子们自己的生活拓展他们的英语思维，激发他们说英语的兴趣，为本节课的新内容做铺垫。)

Step 2 Lead in

1. Look and describe Teacher shows some pictures then asks the students two questions: (1)T: “Look at the pictures, what festival do you think of?”

Ss:“Mid-autumn Day”(学生回答“中秋节”，教师在这里教授单词“Mid-autumn Day”，教师带领学生读两遍) (2)T: What are you going to do on Mid-autumn Day? (教师带着学生复习“What are you going to do?”句型的问答,并引出新句型“Are you going to…?”)

S1: I’m going to go shopping.

S2: I’m going to visit my grandparents.

T: Are you going to go shopping on Mid-autumn Day? (教师问全体学生，并引导学生用Yes或No来回答) Ss: No, we aren’t.

T: Are you going to visit your grandparents on Mid-autumn Day? Ss: Yes, we are.

(3)T: Look at the pictures,“Who can tell me more about Mid-autumn Day?”（出示图片，引导学生说出本课要讲解的单词。）

S1: We can eat moon cake.（学生可以用英语说，也可以用汉语说。教师用英语重复，并用动作或图片讲解单词eat, moon cake。）

S2: We have a big family dinner. S3: We enjoy the moon at night. (教师引导学生猜出“enjoy”的意思。) T: (1)Are you going to eat moon cake? (将单词插入所学句型中练习，教师问，学生回答。) (2) Are you going to have a big family dinner? （设计意图：在本环节中，我想通过同学们都很熟悉的中国节日中秋节来引出我们将要学习的西方节日，但我没有直接告诉同学们，而是通过出示的有关中秋节的图片，让同学们说说关于中秋节那天做什么。这样可以引出本课要学习的新单词，也激发了学生们的学习兴趣，积极举手发言，也为后续学习做好了准备。）

Step3：Presentation & Practice 1．Presentation new contents: (1)Look and guess.

Look at this picture, then guess:“This is a kind of American festivals, what

festival it is?”

T:“Do you want to know what festival it is? Now, let’s look at our books

and listen to the tape, then you can find the answers.”

(2)Listen to the tape for the first time, then try to answer:“ What is the festival?”

Ss: Thanksgiving Day.

(3)Listen to the tape and read after the tape, then look at some pictures and try to answer:“What do people do on Thanksgiving Day?”

S1: People have a special meal, we can eat turkey and pumpkin pies. S2: People watch a big football game on TV. （学生回答问题后，学习新单词：Thanksgiving Day turkey pumpkin pie 等，教师领读两遍，然后通过开火车游戏读单词。）

2．Play games.（做游戏巩固以上所学的新单词，调动学生学习兴趣，加深学生对单词的印象。）

1.单词练习。（一个手指，两个手指游戏。）

2.走步游戏抢答单词。（每组两名同学）

3.连词成句判对错。

（将单词1.Thanksgiving Day, Mid-autumn Day 2.turkey, pumpkin pies, moon cakes , fruit, drink, enjoy the moon, have a big dinner做成卡片，每一次由两名学生来分别从第一组和第二组卡片中抽取，第三名学生用这两个词或词组完成“ Are you going to …… on ……？”句型，其他学生来判断对与错，这样学生既可以熟练地运用句型，并区分两个节日的特点，同时又活跃了课堂的气氛。）

3. Practice 1) Listen for the last time and practice. Pair work: read the text in your groups, then try to describe “Thanksgiving

Day”and“Mid-autumn Day” to your partner.

S1: On Thanksgiving Day, people are going to have a big dinner. S2: On Thanksgiving Day, people are going to eat turkey and some pumpkin pies. S3: On Mid-autumn Day, people are going to eat moon cakes and drink. S4: On Mid-autumn Day, people are going to enjoy the moon at night. （设计意图：本环节主要是让同学们了解中西方的这两个节日感恩节和中秋节，在节日里人们都做些什么，并能用自己的话描述

出来，为使同学们能思路清晰、较好地学习、了解掌握西方的感恩节，我提出了“What are people going to do on Thanksgiving Day?” 这个问题，旨在通过同学们自己在课文中查找和总结，最后能对所学的中西方节日作深刻的理解和记忆。）

Step4 Summary

1. Find the students to answer words. 2. Ask students to make sentences with new words and new sentences. 3. Find students to describe text. Step5 Homework 1. Copy the new words 5 times. 2. Read the text 3 times. 3. Write a short composition: My favourite festival.（节日快要到了, 我们打算做些什么？围绕节日的传统习俗，写一篇小作文，要求不少于40个单词。）
