教材分析：

本课是《牛津英语》上海版3BM3U2《Colours》的内容，教材内容主要围绕大自然，地球的大好河山的颜色展开。根据教材与学生的实际，对内容进行拓展，形成以《The colourful earth》为题的再构文本。使学生在参与阅读文本过程中更了解地球的组成和美好，更深体会保护自然，保护地球的使命。

学生分析：

语言基础：本班学生经过近三年的英语学习，学生掌握了较多的词汇和不少基本句型，并且能够在不同的情景下,善于收集信息，根据不同的情况表达自己的想法。但是多数学生在收集语言信息、输出语段的表达还需不断积累操练和强化。

学习能力：本班学生英语学习兴趣渐浓，学习习惯较好，能积极参与课堂活动。在轻松愉快地氛围中学生能主动学习、积极思考，但仍需不断在阅读及语言输出上多努力。

以听的方式整体呈现，整体输入。从Land部分着手，通过感受不同季节的山来感受地球，大自然的美好，运用When..句型丰富语用表达，锻炼学生语言表达能力。
