二、学生情况分析

本单元的主题是Animals，主要学习如何介绍动物。学生在一、二年级已经学习了一些野生动物词汇: bear, tiger, monkey, panda, fox, hippo, giraffe, snake, elephant, zebra等，并初步了解这些动物的特征；学生学习过用句型Do you like....? 对他人的喜好进行提问并回答；还学习过用They are... They have... They like...口头介绍动物。

在本单元，学生将在动物园的情境下，进一步了解动物的本领，感受动物的可爱。第一课时话题为Animals in the zoo，主要整合了Look and learn和Do a survey板块，学生能根据提示简单介绍动物；第二课时话题为A visit to the zoo，在第一课时的基础上整合Look and say板块，要求学生根据提示简单介绍动物园的动物及其特征；第三课时话题为A nice dream in the zoo，整合前两课时语言，要求学生比较完整地介绍一种动物。
