Teaching Plan for Music Teaching aim: First, to help students get some information about the music

from Hong Kong:Cantonpop, the stars in this field and

the devotion of the fans to them.Second, make students know reading purposes and skills of guessing new words. Teaching process: 1.The teacher plays a Cantonese song for the students to introduce

the topic of Cantopop. 2.The teacher shows some pictures of famous stars Such as ,Andy Lau, Jackie Cheung etc to recall the students impression of the things

related to Cantopop. 3.The teacher allows students to read the passage paragraph by

paragraph.Before reading, the teacher, directs

that after reading each paragraph, the students should summarize the main idea,

and

then, go to some detailed information, through guessing work. 4.The teacher guides and assists students to finish the reading tasks when necessary. 5.After completing understanding the passage, the teacher inspires

the students to discuss whether it is proper for the fans to make

such devotion to their idols. 6.The teacher makes a summary about reading purposes, and how to deal with the new words encountered while reading.
