教学目标

1.通过观看视频、听录音等方式，能够理解故事内容；

2.能够在视频、录音及教师的指导下，按照正确的意群及语音、

语调朗读故事；

3.能够在教师及同伴的帮助下，表演故事，并能恰当运用故事中的语言。

二、学情分析

学生通过阅读趣味故事复习巩固本单元所学的语言，并增加语言的输入。本节课是在完成整个单元的

教学内容后开展的，学生在前几节课的

教学中已储备了相关的知识，如：How tall are you? How heavy are you? I’m…

He’s bigger than …这些语言对于学生来讲难度不大，学生通过该故事的

教学不仅复习巩固了本单元所学的语言，还适当拓宽了其他语言的输入，如：I can’t wait. Football needs teamwork. What’s happening here?等，这些语言学生在日常生活中也会经常用到，非常实用。

ⅠWarm-up

1. Greetings

2. Free talk （PPT呈现）

T: How tall are you?...

You’re taller than me.

How heavy are you?

You’re thinner than me. S1&S2 生生对话，并进行比较。

T: You’re so tall. Do you like playing basketball?...

3. Lead-in

T: Look. Who’s he?（PPT呈现姚明照片）Ss: Yao Ming. T: Yes, he is Yao Ming. What’s he like? Ss: He’s tall and strong. T: How tall is he? Do you know? S1: He’s …m. T: Let’s have a look. Here are some information about him. How tall is he? Ss: He’s 2.26 m. T: How heavy is he? Ss: He’s 140.6 kg. T: What’s his hobby? Ss: He likes playing basketball. T: Yes, you’re right. So he became a basketball player. This is his job. Let’s look at another picture. Who’s he? Do you know?(PPT呈现贝克汉姆照片)

Ss: He’s Beckham. T: Good. How tall is he?/How heavy is he?/ Is he a basketball player, too? Ss: … T: Wonderful! He’s a football player. Do you like playing football? S1: Yes. T: Zoom and Zip like playing football, too. They have a football club. Look! There is a poster about the club.(T出示海报，贴在黑板上)

1. Read the poster loudly and answer

T: Please read the poster loudly and answer the question: What do they want?

2. Watch and answer

T: Now, watch the cartoon and answer.

Q: Who wants to be the goalkeeper?

Zebra, Deer, Giraffe and Dog.

3. Look and guess

T: Who became the goalkeeper at last? Why? Look, here comes another animal hippo. There are some information about these animals. Please look at their information and guess: who became the goalkeeper at last? Why?

4. Watch and check

T: Now, let’s watch the cartoon again and check: who became the goalkeeper at last?...

T: Yes. The hippo became the goalkeeper at last. Because he’s almost bigger than the goal. The other animals can’t be the goalkeeper. Can you tell us why? Why can’t the Giraffe be the goalkeeper? Why can’t the Deer be the goalkeeper? Why can’t the Zebra be the goalkeeper? How about the dog?

4.Listen and read

T: Now, let’s listen to the tape and read the whole story.

5. Role play

T: Now, let’s read in roles. Each group needs 7 students. Group 1, who wants to join? …(课堂上重新组合小组，七人一组练习故事，然后上台展示)
