Unit 3 Sounds 教学设计(第一课时)

(三年级下册英语上海教育出版社)

(下良镇中心校水碾小学郝丽芬)

一、Teaching goals(教学目标)

1、能在语境中正确运用本课时的核心词汇。

2、能在听一听、说一说的活动中,熟练运用句型“What can you hear? I can hear a ...”询问别人听到了什么和描述自己听到的声音。

二、Students analysis(学情分析)

水碾小学三年级班共有14名学生,其中女生5名,男生9名。这些学生年龄在九到十岁左右,生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,对视频、音频、图片等特别感兴趣。他们聪明活泼、勤奋好学,这些学生之于上学期对英语的学习,有了一定的基础,有时可能说的不好,有的还不敢说,但他们对英语都有着十分浓厚的兴趣。课堂上教师要以表扬为主,注重培养学生学习英语的兴趣,鼓励他们努力听、积极做和大胆说!

I can hear a plane.

五、Teaching steps(教学步骤)

I. Greeting(问候)

Teacher and students say “Good afternoon!”to each other.

II.Leading-in(导入)

这个世界是丰富多彩的,用我们的眼睛可以看到缤纷的色彩,用我们的舌头可以尝到各种美味,在Unit 1 Colours 和Unit 2 Tastes 里我们学习了相关的词汇和句型,而我们也可以用耳朵听到不同的声音,今天我们就一起来学习如何用英语谈论声音吧,也就是Unit 3 Sounds。

Use your ears——listen!

今天我们要静下心来听听这个世界的声音啦,如果你们闭上眼睛,我相信,你们的听觉会更灵敏,试试吧!

Teacher lets students use their ears and listen to the recording of the sea.

Then teacher asks students to answer the question. Q: 你们能听到什么声音?(What can you hear?)

Students answer: 大海(sea)、鸟(birds)

教师扩展单词:海浪(sea wave)、海鸥(seagull)

III.Learning new(学习新知)

1.Look and say

Firstly, teacher shows a picture of a busy street.Then teacher asks students to answer----What can you see?

eg.公共汽车、小汽车、自行车、行人等。

那么,本单元我们将学习与交通工具有关的内容。

Teacher asks students to look at different pictures of vehicle(交通工具).

At the same time, teacher writes some new words on the blackboard.

bike(自行车) bus(公共汽车;巴士)

plane(飞机) ship(船)

car(小汽车) train(火车)

Teacher asks students to read and spell these words after her.

2.Look and read

Teacher asks students to look at different pictures of

vehicle again. At the same time, teacher asks students to read and spell these words together.

3.Listen and read

Teacher lets students listen to the recording of the sounds. T: Listen!What is it?

Ss: It is a cat/dog.

询问对方听到什么的句型及答语:

T: What can you hear?(你能听到什么?)

Ss: I can hear a cat/dog.(我能听到一只猫/狗(的声音)。) At the same time, teacher writes the first sentence (What can you hear? ) on the blackboard.

教师讲解listen和hear的区别。

listen: 动词,听,强调听的动作,提醒对方注意。

hear: 动词,听见、听到,强调听的结果。

并要求学生作随堂笔记。

IV.Drill(操练)

1.Listen and say

Listen and say is a dialogue between Kitty and Joe. They are talking about the sounds in the park.

Teacher asks students to open their books, on page 10. Then look at the point sentences on the box together.At the same time,

teacher writes the second sentence (I can hear a plane. ) on the blackboard.

1)Teacher shows the cartoons of the dialogue to students for one time.

2)Teacher and students look at the cartoons again, and teacher explains the dialogue to students.

3)Teacher asks students to read the dialogue after her for one time.

2. Read and answer

1)Students read Listen and say again, then answer these two questions.

① What can Joe hear?

He can hear a dog and a bus.

② What can Kitty hear?

She can hear a plane and cars.

2)Teacher asks some students to answer.

3)Students answer these two questions together.

3. Say and act

Teacher shows the recording of this dialogue to students again. Then asks students to act it out in pairs.

After three minutes, teacher asks some pairs to act this dialogue out.

V.Consolidate(巩固)

1.Choose and say

There are some pictures of different vehicle in this part. Teacher shows the recording of different vehicle one by one, at the same time, teacher asks students to listen to the recording carefully, then choose one picture and answer the teacher’s question.

T: What can you hear?

S: I can hear a ...

...

2.Tick and say

This part is Tick and say on page 11.

Students look at these pictures, and answer this question---- “What are they?”

T: What is it?

S: It is a ...

...

Teacher shows the recording of this part, asks students to tick the correct answers one by one.

Then teacher asks students “What can you hear?”. Students answer “I can hear...”when students listen to the recording

again.

Teacher shows the recording of this part for the third time, students write the order of these pictures.

VII.Homework(作业)

1、Spell and write these words.

bus car ship train plane bike

2、Complete the sentences.

3、Introduce a place.

Teacher asks students to complete these questions after class.

七、Teaching reflection(教学反思)

本课时是上海教育出版社(三年级起点)三年级下册模块一Using my five senses里的第三单元Sounds里的第一课时的内容,包括课本第10页d的Listen and say、和第11页的Look and learn和Tick and say三部分。

Listen and say呈现了Kitty和Joe在公园谈论听到的声音的场景。核心句型是:What can you hear? I can hear...。

Look and learn呈现了六种交通工具,核心词汇是bike(自行车)、bus(公共汽车;巴士)、plane(飞机)、ship(船)、car (小汽车)和train(火车)。

Tick and say呈现了各种交通工具,要求学生听录音,根据听到的声音依次勾出相应的图片。

本单元是Sounds,学生通过学习,能够谈论日常生活中常听到的各种声音,并能描述在不同场所听到的各种声音。在上课的过程中教师先呈现了不同的交通工具的单词Look and learn 部分,接着学习了Listen and say 部分,最后通过Tick and say 部分练习帮助学生操练核心句型。在教学中,为了使语言的运用更加真实、自然,教师尽量通过多媒体或播放录音来创设情境并进行教学,避免单纯操练句型。

在整节课的教学中,课堂气氛和谐,学生们积极主动地进行了合

作和交流,大部分学生达到了自主学习的目的和要求。但由于学生个体存在差异,有少部分学生在Say and act里表现的不够活跃,这就需要教师在今后的教学中要更加关注个体差异,努力使每个学生在课堂上都有所收获和提高。再者就是在上课时进行课堂实录对于学生们来说比较新鲜和紧张,所以在展示的时候部分学生紧张的出现了卡壳,重复等现象,我想随着课堂实录在课堂教学中的普及,学生们会对此事习以为常的。

八、The evaluation from other teachers(教师点评)

李素平老师:郝丽芬的这节课,整体来看,思路清晰,目标明确,做到了面向全体学生这一点。比如:她创设了各种情景(Listen and read和Choose and say),鼓励学生大胆地使用英语,并且做到了对学生在学习过程中的失误和错误采取宽容的态度。这样就为学生提供了自主学习和直接交流的机会,以及充分表现和自我发展的一个空间。

所以,鼓励学生通过体验、实践、合作、探索等方式,发展听、说、读、写的综合能力在我们小学英语教学中是必不可少的,这点丽芬做的就很不错。

王跃平老师:我觉得郝丽芬在教学中关注了学生的情感,创造了民主、和谐的教学气氛,这点也是值得我们去借鉴的。学生只有对自己、对英语及其文化有积极的情态,才能保持英语学习的动力并取得

成绩。丽芬在这节课中,把英语教学与情态有机地结合起来,创造了各种合作学习的活动(Say and act),促进了学生互相学习,互相帮助,体验成就感,发展合作精神。同时建立融洽、民主的师生交流渠道,做到了教学相长。

我说的就这么多。

于亚慧老师:小学英语课堂教学要保证有丰富的语言输入量。这也符合课改提出的新理念:"不能教教材,而要用教材"。即要创造性地理解、使用教材,又要积极开展课程资源,灵活运用多种教学策略。信息技术的应用,不受时空的限制,为教学提供了大量的信息,保证了丰富的语言输入量。在这节课中,郝老师在导入时通过多媒体播放了大海的声音以及展示的图片,并且在课中播放了课文的音、视频文件,这样就增大了课堂容量,为教学提供大量生动、形象的素材。这样不仅有效地扩大了学生视野和与语言操练的面,而且提高了学生的接受和存储效率,从而增强了教学效果。

艾佼佼老师:我认为小学英语课堂评价要抓住孩子的心也是重要的。现代教学论和评价论认为,有效的课堂教学其实是在一系列或明或隐、或大或小的评价活动基础上展开的。那么,在课堂教学评价中,采用具有积极意义的激励性评价是促进学生发展、提高课堂教学质量的有效措施和保障机制。郝老师在教学中结合教学内容和教学活动,实施了富有特色的激励性评价。比如:经常用一些简单的词汇加以鼓

励,让学生为表现好的同学鼓掌等。这些做的都比较好,效果也明显。
