学情分析：

1.

本单元的话题是看病，有关询问和描述病情的句型What’s wrong with you? 和I have a fever/ …以及表示建议的情态动词should和否定形式shouldn’t的用法都是本单元的重点教学内容。

2.

本节课的主要教学内容在四下U7和U8里都已经接触过，学生对关心他人，表达感受，以及部分疾病单词都不陌生。所以本课的学习一以旧带新的方式导入，是最好的处理方法。

教学过程：

Step 1.Warming up:

Step 2. Presentation and practice：

Look，this is my friend “Doctor Wu”. He works in a big hospital. What does he do? He helps sick people. What does he do? He helps sick people. Doctor Wu is a good doctor. But today he is busy. Look, here he comes. 2.

Now we are at the hospital. What’s wrong with SH and Mike? Do you understand” What’s wrong…?” or we can say” What’s the matter with …? ”

Watch and find their illness. Check the answer. (1). What’s wrong with SH? She has a headache. She feels cold. She has a fever. (2). What’s wrong with Mike? He has a toothache. He can’t eat anything.

Q:Does Mike go to see a doctor? (teach a dentist) 4.

Read and match: Doctor Wu comes again. Read the dialogues and find the suggestions as quickly as you can. Check the answer. 5.

Step 3. Consolidation: 1.

Think and say: Talk about the whole steps. First，we should ask the patient about his/her illness.

Do a role-play: Doctor Wu comes again. Choose a case to make a dialogue. 4.
