Teaching Procedures :

1.Greetings to students: 1) Say hello to boys and girls . Introduce myself to the students. Talk about day and weather.

2) Ask the students’ name?Then describe someone together. 【设计意图】:

每节课多样的常规口语练习,能提高孩子的口语表达能力。带着全班一起描述同Greetings& 学为课后拓展部分的写作做铺垫。

2.Warm-up: Warm-up

1)Draw a circle on the blackboard. Let them imagine what it is. Maybe it’s a sun. Is it a football? Is not a light? (Guess and say with imagination.) 2)Draw a whole Microphone to lead in reporter.

3)Act a TV reporter. I have a friend guess who is she? 【设计意图】:

用头脑风暴游戏创造一种轻松有趣的环境,消除学生课前的紧张感。用此游戏进行单词的复习与巩固,同时为新课文对话做铺垫。

Show 3 questions on PPT and then play the video of paragraph1 in this lesson. Answer the questions after watching. Fill in the blanks. Describe the Yang Ming’s mother. Practice What does your mother do? Where does your mother work? 【设计意图】:

用问答形式引出课题。课文采取分总的方法处理。在学生观看视频之前提出问题,让学生明白看视频的目的,有的放矢方可事半功倍,并能在对话练习后顺理成章进入下一段课文。

2.Learn paragraph2. 1)

1)Read paragraph2 and then answer 3 questions like paragraph1. Answer the questions after watching. 2)

Fill in the blanks. Describe the Yang Ming’s father. 3)

Practice What does your father do? Where does your father work? 4)

Describe the Yang Ming’s father and mother. 【设计意图】:

在有第一部分的学习铺垫后进入到第二部分,采取自学找关键问题的方法理解课文,学习课文中的重点单词和句型。课文处理后,再进行全文的描述,练习第三人称的用法,是写作指导中的一部分,也为后面的写作埋下伏笔。

3.Look and match then describe with the pictures. 1)Look at the pictures of place. 2) Look at the pictures of job. 3) Match them between the pictures of job and pictures of places. 4) Describe the this part in groups. 5)Show time.(2 or 3 students) 【设计意图】:

连线题的设计有助于孩子们复习前面和今天学的有关职业和地点的词语,自选人物进行描述,学生参与面广,能达到更好的学习效果。同时,即培养了学生语言表达的能力,也提高了学生学习英语的兴趣.对表现好的学生及时给于奖励,将提前准备好的关于职业的图片分发给学生,并问学生是什么职业,更能有效的回顾和巩固职业,以便能顺利地进入下一个环节。

4.Show a picture of Angelababy and the information about her. 1)Talk about Angelababy in class. 2)Show the short passage about Angelababy.

The girl is Angelababy. She is 28. She is from China. She has big eyes and small mouth. She has long black hair. She is tall and thin. She is beautiful. She is an actress. She works at H.BROTHERS.

【设计意图】:

选择一个小学生们非常喜欢的明星给出她的基本资料进行描述,孩子们很感兴趣也乐于参与。从简单的对话到三、五句的描述再过渡到大段文字对某人的描述,循序渐进比较符合小学生的认知规律和接受能力。

5.Production

将课文内容和课外知识带入到生活中来,使孩子们能用已学的知识来表达自己身边真实存在的人,达到学习语言的真正目的。

【设计意图】:

教学环节中将英语和美术联系在一起,不但能提高学生的学习兴趣而且能培养孩子们图文结合的美感。图文并茂的进行一个知识的延伸和拓展。

Summary Complete the passage with favorite person. 【设计意图】:

通过小结,使得学生懂得本堂课我使用了对话,过渡到描述后做了一些写作的方法的指导最后完成写作,已达到运用语言的能力。
