人教版小学英语PEP四年级上册Unit3 A Let’s talk教学设计

教材分析:

本单元的话题是朋友。通过本单元的学习,学生要能够向他人介绍自己的好朋友,对好友的性格和外貌特征进行描述。本课时是第一课时,教材通过John向妈妈介绍自己的新朋友张鹏的情景,让学生感知核心句型What’s his name? His name is Zhang Peng. He’s tall and strong.的语义及语用情景。学生在三年级下册第一单元曾接触过friend话题,能够简单地介绍This is my friend. 三年级下册第二单元学习过Who’s this man? He’s my father.等句型,认识人称代词he, she, it. 关于外貌特征的词汇,三年级下册学过描写动物的词汇tall, short, thin, fat, long, small, big及句型It’s short and fat.等。本节课的对话中,friendly,strong,his这三个词对于学生来说是新词。

学情分析:

四年级的学生对英语学习兴趣浓厚,具有词汇学习的能力,能积极参与课堂教学活动,表现欲望强烈。小组合作意识已经初步形成。就知识技能目标而言,人称代词的用法及正确区别what’s his name?和What’s her name?是教学的难点。

教学目标:

1、知识与技能目标:

1、能够在语境中理解生词his, friendly, strong的意思,并能正确发音;

2、能够在语境中理解人称代词he, she 和形容词性物主代词his, her. 2、过程与方法目标:

1、能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意;

能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话,并能进行角色表演;

2、能够在情景中运用句型What’s his/her name? His/Her name is …

询问并回答某人的姓名,并能在情景中恰当运用功能句He’s/She’s tall and …

描述人的外貌特征。

3、情感态度目标:

1、乐于感知并积极尝试使用英语,在小组活动中能与其他同学积极配合和合作;

2、在小组交流中,注意倾听,积极思考,运用所学英语进行表达与交流。

Greet and sing a song:

3 Review the words: tall short thin long big small 4 Do you have any friends?

Who is he/she?

Is he/she tall or short? Presentation: Show the picture of the dialogue. Listen and answer:

1 How many people do you see in the picture?

2 Who are they?

3 What are they talking about? Watch the video.

Think about the questions:

1 Who is John’s

3 Is he tall? Is he strong? Is he friendly?

Find the sentences that describe Zhang Peng. Teach the new words: tall,strong, Friendly.

Practice: Retell the dialogue.

Listen and follow the tape.
