一、教学内容：

译林版小学英语五下Unit5 Helping our parents (Story time) 二、教学目标；

1.能听得懂、会读、会说单词和词组clean, cook, busy, parent, sweep the floor, wash the dishes 2.能听懂、会读、会说句型和日常交际用语I am/We are/They are sweeping the floor. He/She is cooking dinner. 3.能正确理解、掌握故事内容，并能用正确的语音语调朗读、初步复述故事

4.能初步感知和理解现在进行时的用法

5.通过学习，鼓励学生帮父母做力所能及的家务

能正确理解、掌握故事内容，并能用正确的语音语调朗读、初步复述故事

难点：

现在分词cleaning, sweeping, washing 的读音

四、教学准备：

多媒体课件、板书、学生作业纸、学正宝平板

五、教学过程：

Step1 Warm-up 1.Enjoy a song ：What are they doing？

【设计意图：课前放一首跟本课主题相关的歌曲，吸引学生的注意力，同时提前让学生进入英语学习环境。】

2.Free talk T: What day is it today ?

Are you happy today ? T: I like cooking . What do you like doing ?

3.Look and say T：Look! These students like doing housework. They are helping their parents do some housework. Do you like helping your parents ? (教授parents) 揭示主题：Helping our parents 【设计意图：利用free talk打开学生的思维，帮助他们复习已有的知识。通过出示一些学生做家务的图片引出今天的主题。】

Play a game

T：Now, Let’s play a game.You’ll see some pictures of housework,if you can do it,Please say it out loudly! OK? 【设计意图：通过游戏边学边玩，一方面调动学生的学习激情，另一方面帮助他们更快的学习新知，为接来下的新授做铺垫。】

Step2 A new story 1.Our old Friend T: Well done! Now,boys and girls,Mike is cleaning the car with his father.He is our old friend.What do you know about him?(出示与Mike相关的图片) T: Look! Is he good at playing football?Can he play basketball?What does he like eating ? T: Today,Let’s visit Mike’s home,and guess what is he going to tell us? 【设计意图：通过上图Mike帮助爸爸洗车的环节，自然地引出接下来让学生说一说与Mike相关的知识。从而提出去参观Mike家。猜测Mike会跟我们描述什么呢？利用这个问题逐步呈现出本单元Story time的第一幅课文插图，巧妙导入到Story time的学习之中。】

2.Look and say T: Look at the picture, tell me who is in Mike’s family?Where are they ? 【设计意图：通过观察文章中的图片，让学生看图说话。找出主要人物和所处的位置，帮助学生理清故事中的人物关系。同时特别指出小狗也是他们中的家庭成员之一，提升情感。】

3.Watch and match Are Mike and Helen helping their parents? What are they doing ? Let’s watch. Check the answers. 【设计意图：通过看动画，让学生初步整体感知本课故事。同时，通过两个问题的提出，培养学生解决问题的能力。也为接下来的精读做准备】

4.Read and judge

T: According to the Cartoon .We know what are Mike and Helen doing ? How about the other family members?What are they doing in the morning? Read the paragraph one by yourselves,and finish the judgement on your pad.(自读课文第一段完成平板上的判断题。) Read these sentences and complete the blackboard.(出示板书) 【设计意图：让学生自己读文章第一段，然后完成平板上的判断题，通过云教育平台实时监测学生的完成情况，了解学生的学习进度和正确率，有针对性地讲解错误率高的题目。】

5. Fill in the blanks What happened in the afternoon? What are they doing? Work in pairs,read paragraph 2and3,and fill in the blanks on your paper.Then,Please take photos and send it to me .

【设计意图：同桌合作朗读文章二、三两段，引导学生关注文本细节，学会把握关键信息。完成练习纸上的表格，然后利用平板拍照上传。教师通过云教育平台实时监测学生的完成情况，并根据学生上传的图片，选择几个学生的答案进行讲解批改。】

根据表格完成板书的另一半。

6. Guess and say T: Where is Mike’s dad? What is he doing? Let’s guess. 【设计意图：文中没有提到Mike的爸爸下午在哪里？在做什么？通过让学生猜测，发挥他们的想象力，同时锻炼他们的口语表达能力。】

7.Reading time

Read the text after the tape.

Work in a group of four.Choose one way to read:

read together; read after one; read one by one. 【设计意图：引导学生模仿录音朗读文本，再选择一种喜欢的方式朗读，让学生体验学习的快乐和相互帮助的情感。】

Step 3 Consolidation 1.

Let’s ask and answer in pairs. 【设计意图：同桌合作，通过板书表格复述课文，复习和巩固课文内容。同时，同时提问晚上他们在做什么？来调动孩子们的想象力，可采取问答形式，培养他们的综合语言运用能力。】

Step3 Helping our parents T: Family is very important for every one. We should help each other.
