教材分析：本部分教材出自人民教育出版社出版pep五年级下

册英语Unit 4When is Easter

B Read and write部分。该内容主要注重读、写两部分。本课重点是关于Sarah的四篇日记和对应每篇日记的插图。

因为学生对小猫比较感兴趣，插图可以提高他们的学习兴趣。

学情分析：五年级学生活泼好动，喜欢表现。也很爱聚在一起探讨问题。在本单元前两节课，学生已经基本掌握了月日的基本表达方法。但是班上也有少许学生的英语接受能力较弱。所以在月日的表达上还有待加强。

教学目标：

1．知识和能力：能听、说、读写本课生词

如kitten、diary、noise等;理解日记中的句子并能根据例句的提示，仿写出相关的语句。

2、方法与途径：引导学生根据教师的示意回答问答，读日记理解单词及句意，口说手写等活动来完成教学任务，实现教学目标。

3、情感态度价值观目标：让学生体验并参与学习，让其懂得小组合作的乐趣。培养学生热爱小动物，进而升华到热爱生活和懂得感恩父母的情感态度中来。

4、运用平板操作和PPT培养学生的学习兴趣。因为小学生对平板呈现方式还是很感兴趣的，同时平板加上ppt课件更方便教学。

重点：学生能读懂Sarah的日记，掌握基本的阅读技巧。培养学生带着问题去阅读文段的阅读方法。同时，本课要复习学生在前几课学过的月日的表达方法。进一步学习英语日期的表达。

难点：学生能掌握本课基本的阅读策略。即贯穿在本节课教学过程中的新知呈现

方法。阅读的方法还需要学生结合本课阅读的方法扩展。具体还要考虑阅读的体

裁，学生的基础等。因此，阅读策略是本课的难点。

课型：阅读写作课

教法和学法：

1、讲授法; 2、合作探究学习法; 3、看图猜词法;4、口语练习法；5、句子仿写法。

课前准备：

一、教师准备

1、用于贴纸的磁铁。

2、设计好的小猫的图片、制作好的单词卡片。

3、平板电脑等设备。

二、学生准备

1、复习月日的表达法

2、蜡笔、英语练习本

3、搜集相关动物成长习性的资料

三、教学过程

Step1 : 预习温故

1.Warming-up T: Hello, everyone! S:Hello! T:How are you today? S:I’m fine,thank you! And you ? T:Do you like music? Let’s sing a happy song toghter .One, two ,go... (After that) That’s a very great. Now ,when is your birthday? S1:It’s on October 21st.

T: When is your birthday? S: It’s on February 2nd. Ask a girl,大家齐问她：“When is your birthday?”

S: It’s on February 2nd . T: Good, OK .

Step 2.Complete the puppet. T：It’s a cat. The cat is our good friend. Step3: 1. T:Do you know the kitten? S: No. T: Follow me. Kitten…

2.T:There are 2 kittens.(并贴上4月15 日kitten的图片在黑板上，后又拿出3张图片)I have other three pictures.

Who can paste the pictures on the blackboard?Is paste here or there?(叫生在黑板上来贴)OK, girl, come here. 贴对了，就说OK，yes. OK , this is the last one.贴出图片后说The kittens are older and older now.

3.(1)Listen. Listen and guess (指着头) “when is the kitten’s birthday?”

T:When is their birthday?(用4月15 日的图片示意，叫一男生) S: It’s on April 15th.(并在奶猫图片上面贴上April 15th的图片)并说thank you. What color are they ? and why ?Give you 1 minute.然后小组围成一个圈讨论。（5人一组，分为5组）

T：one ,two ,three. S:A,B,C T:What color are they? S:They’re pink. T; Why? S:Because they’re very young. (并拿出红色的纸说They are pink.把pink 贴在黑板上。

And they’re young.把young 贴在黑板上)并指着黑板说It’s on April 15th .They’re pink. They’re young. Say it toghter.(叫两生单独说It’s on April 15th .They’re pink. They’re young.)

T:Read it together, one, two, go…(生齐读，师把six days ,white fur 贴在4月21日下) T: what’s the date today?(指着4月21日的图片问) S：It’s on April 21st.(并把April 21st

T: I’ll show your kittens. They’re cute. yes or no? S: Yes. T:They have green fur. They can play football . I ‘ll give your five minutes to draw and write. Give your five minutes. 根据句子或短文给小猫着色。并伴上音乐。

生给猫涂色，根据图片写出句子或文章（10分钟）

另一生又展示：It’s on ….They have long hair and …

Step4: 给出孩子成长感恩的屏幕，并逐个图片进行介绍。
