Unit 2 Boys and girls

Teaching aim:

1.To know and say the words to use pictures: classmate/ friend/ man/ woman/ boy/ girl.

2.To arouse the ss’ interest of learning English and join all kinds of organized activities actively.

3.To let ss know the importance of co-operating each other.

Teaching points: understand the words and remember the words

Teaching procedure:

Step 1: Warming up and revision 5 minutes

Listen and chant!

Step 2: Presentation

1.Show the picture about part A

T: Look, there are some people in the picture. Who are they?

Discuss the picture and talk about the answers.

e.g. ------Who are they?

------She’s Lily. She’s a girl.

------Who’s this woman?

------Who’s he?

2.Learn the new words.

Point Bill and learn the word boy.

T: He’s Bill. He’s a boy.

Read the word

Learn the other words the same way.

3.Practice

Listen the word and show the word card.

Say the number, and ss point and say the word.

Watch the picture and say the word.

Step 3: More practice

Play a game.

T says the name, ss make the sentences. Play it in group and in class.

e.g. T: Bill.

Ss: He’s my friend. He’s a boy.

(从教材中的人物名字,说到学生熟知的现实生活中的人物,如同学,老师等,如:Miss Chen. She’s a woman. She’s my Chinese teacher. )

Step 4: Summing up/ Homework

Watch, listen and chant.
