Teaching Procedure (in details) Teaching Procedure I．Pre-reading Ask Ss to tell some information about plants they often see in their daily lives, especially in their campus and the Green Land. Step 1 Show three pictures of plants to arouse students’

interest in the topic of this unit.

Step 2 Look and know about the above plants, such as their shapes, colours and uses. Fill in the following blanks. A. Rice is round and yellow. It can be used to produces grains B. Discussion Ask the following questions to make them aware of the fact we need to do our best to protect the plants

Question1: Why are plants so important to us human being? Ask students to give their reasons freely. Then do the blank-filling. Fill in the blanks according to the Chinese
