I was excited about today’s class. I wrote the diary. Do you write diary? What kind of diary? 设计意图:一方面复习日期,另一方面由日期自然地过渡到日记,并了解学生是否有记日记的习惯,日记的内容是什么,激发学生原有的生活经验。

Topic: Animals’observation diary. 动物观察日记

Task : Write animals’observation diary 写动物观察日记。

设计意图:以Sarah’s diary为情境,在情境中复习已学的描述动物的句型。另一方面谜语能激发学生的好奇心和求知欲,使其学习动机由潜伏状态转入活跃状态。滚动复习旧知;同时引出本课的主人公kitten。并呈现任务:写动物观察日记。以此激发学习动机,从情绪和知识上做好学习准备。

6. Predict: Order the pictures by kittens’growth process.按照小猫的成长过程给图片排序。

设计意图:让学生根据小猫的成长过程将图片排序,一方面激活学生已有的生活知识经验;另一方面引导学生认真观察图片,进一步激发学生的阅读欲望。评论(0)活动2【活动】While-reading

设计意图:通过找日期来应证读前的预测。并循序渐进地运用阅读策略(略读)指导学生阅读。

Listen to the noises. Here , noise means sound.

The cat makes noises when it is ill.

设计意图:让学生通过摸一摸动物布偶来理解fur的意义;通过听音,理解在文本中noises 是声响的意思。从触觉、听觉来帮助学生学习,突破本课难点。

设计意图:延续动物成长日记的话题主线,通过网络信息搜索、收集,自编了动物园园长的日记:圆仔。一方面及时监控学生的学习情况,另一方面拓展学生的阅读,丰富学生的视野。同时也是一种阅读迁移,内化语言。

(4)情感渗透

From Sarah’s dairy and zoo keeper’s diary, we learn that observation is the best teacher. The more you observe, the more you learn. 生活源于观察,学会观察,善于观察

设计意图:挖掘文本外的深层意义:观察的意义。

3. Task: Write Animals’observation diary.写动物观察日记。

小组讨论选择:1.蝌蚪观察日记;2.小狗观察日记;3.小鸡孵化观察日记。观察图片,小组合作写日记

每个成员选择一个日期和图片,写观察日记。

小组成员按照日期顺序读日记。小组共同展示。

设计意图:以读促写,让学生运用在阅读的过程中搭建起的语言支架,仿写动物的成长过程完成语言的输出,完成从知识汲取到能力发展的过渡。同时也是为学生作业的完成提供范例。评论(0)活动4【作业】Homework
