Once upon a time, there was an old tailor, She made a living by making clothes for others. She is very old, but she has no child. The older she became, the lonelier she felt. One day, she got an idea, Why couldn’t I make a doll to be my son? Then she made many cloth pieces: one roundhead, two big bright eyes, two ears, one small red mouth, and of course, a nose. “How cute the baby is!” Said the old woman. Then she began to make his body: she made two arms, two hands, Oh, don’t forget to make ten fingers, Woo!

Now the baby is almost finished. The old woman is very tired but excited. She went on doing her work until mid-night. She finished making two legs with two feet. At last, she cut ten toes. The baby was finished! The old woman was so tired that she slept on the floor.

The next day, the old woman woke up by some smell of coffee. She felt very surprised, the room is clean and the breakfast is ready on the table. Who did that? A boy came to her and greeted her : “Good morning! Mother.”

“Who are you?” asked the old woman. “I am your son, you made me last night.” Said the boy.

Last night, the fairy came and waved her magic wand. The doll became a real boy! They lived happily ever after.
