PPT, Pictures. Teaching Procedures: Step1 Greeting Greet everyone as they arrive for class. Play The Months Song as they begin to settle down. Step2 Lead in Show some pictures about the weather and let student think about the words they have learned. Teacher can ask student: What’s this?(show a picture of sun, cloud, rain, wind and snow) Then, ask students which one does he/she like? Why? Give them two minutes to discuss it. Step3 Presentation

Begin by asking students to look at picture1 on PPT. Ask them to tell the teacher what they can see. They should be able to use their new words from previous lesson. Write down the words they can use and add -y or -ny, say the words and ask students to repeat it. Let them find out the difference between the two words. When say the sentence, the teacher should make sure that he/she makes gestures to show cold or warm. Point to the air and ask : How’s the weather today? Then, show the sheet on the PPT to make students practice the sentence. Listen to the tape. Step4 Practice Divide students into six groups. Let them remember the city and weather. Teacher will say a city a, meanwhile, student should answer the weather and post the picture on the right position. Teacher will find out the fastest group.
