一.Teaching materials analysis 本课是pep

英语五年级下册第二单元Part C story time.

整个单元以seasons

为中心话题,围绕着描述“What ’s your favorite season? ”展开。本节课的story time

主要是对本单元知识的整合,由于故事中有许多生词、生句,这就增加了学生学习的难度。因此,本节课我借助生动的多媒体动画、录音、图片、文字、音乐等,触动学生多种感官,让学生全身心投入课堂中。针对本堂课的重难点,我先把关键的生词、句解决,再采用任务型教学方法,任务由易到难,个个击破。做到既能巩固所学知识,又能提高解决问题的能力以及综合运用语言能力,从而完成教学任务。

Teaching aims

1、知识目标:通过对单元知识的巩固,读懂故事,体会故事的趣味性,

并能表演故事。

2、能力目标:(1)能够认读:winter coat, bathing suit, sunglasses,

ice skates等新单词

(2)能够理解I can ’t believe this. How did that happen?

以及I am going to„的学说

3、情感目标:不当马虎的孩子,应该认真做好每件事。2

Step 1. Warm up

:How many seasons are there in a year? (Ss回答,呈现四季特征图片)

复习本单元的主要句型及其回答:

What ’s your favorite season? Which season do you like best? Spring / Summer / Fall / Winter. Why? Because I can ......

:Which season is it now ? Ss: Spring (It’s spring time now) T

:Spring goes ,what comes? Ss: Summer.

T: Yes . My favourite season is summer .Do you know why? Ss...... ( Because there is a summer vacation in summer.)

T: Where are you going on summer vacation?

For example: I am going to Beijing/I am going to......

T: You know I have a twin sister. We are very different. I like swimming, but she likes skating. So she is going to Australia

3 this summer vacation. I am going to Hawaii.

Look! What’s the weather like there?

(呈现夏威夷的图片)

T: It ’s so warm there .what do I need?

以此引出bathing suit ,sunglasses

(多媒体呈现两个生词的相应图片及儿童眼镜模特)

老师戴上:How do I look? Am I cool?

教师评价

Look ,this is my case . (Let’s have a look, what’s in it?)结果发现箱子里不是太阳眼镜和泳衣,而是一件大棉袄和一双滑冰鞋。

:oh my god ! (惊讶状)I can ’t believe this. How did that happen? Maybe I took the wrong case(This is my twin sister’s case) .由此引出winter coat and ice skates.

(多媒体呈现这两个生词的相应图片,教师可指着图片问多个学生,What ’s this ?学生回答后,教师重复I can ’t believe this/my eyes. How did that happen?

这样就让学生熟悉了新词语和句子I can’t believe this......

T: I’m so careless. Do you think I will have a happy vacation? How did THAT happen? ( Because I took the wrong case.) Step 3 Let’s read and answer

1. T: In fact, our friends Zoom and Zip are going on their vacation, too. Do you want to know “Where are Zip and Zoom going? When are they going? ”

4 Let ’s watch the video, and find out. (播放故事的前两幅图)

教师利用板书引导学生齐读Zip is going to Australia. Zoom is going to Canada.(板书Australia

和Canada)

教师提出问题:What do they have? What can they do there?

(播放另外的四幅图片,让学生找答案)同时一一呈现新单词,带读新词并板书

整篇故事听一遍,再分组朗读,同桌之间练习后,表演故事。

Sum up:Do you think they will have a happy vacation? Ss:回答。T

:不当马虎的孩子,认真做好每件事!

Step 4. Extension. (Plan our vacation)

T: Zoom and Zip didn’t have a happy vacation. But I hope you have. Now, let’s plan your vacation

课件出示例子I am going to Hainan on my vacation. It’s so warm there, I can swim all day. Look, I have T-shirt, sunglasses and shorts. Hooray!
