【学习目标】

1、能根据所学词汇简单描述物品的特征:

The ruler is long. The pencil is short. The tree is tall.

The cars are big. The bikes are small.

2、完成Read and tick or cross部分练习。

【能力目标】能用目标句型描述物品的特征。

【情感目标】

培养学生积极参与、大胆运用重点句式,在实际环境中与他人交流

能根据所学词汇简单描述物品的特征:

【教学过程】

Step 1: Warm up and review the words

1.复习上节课所学单词。教师出示图片,让学生用英语读出来并试着拼写。

2. 打节奏练习chant..

Step 2:Lead in.

T:(出示尺子和铅笔图片) I have a ruler and a pencil. What is long? What is short?

T&S:(引导学生) The ruler is long. The pencil is short.板书句型。

Step 3: Presentation

1.出示grass & tree图片,引出句型The tree is tall. The grass is short.

2.出示cars & bikes图片,引出句型The cars are big. The bikes are

small.

3.Listening

(1).listen to the tape.

(2).Listen and follow.

(3)Teach the sentences .

Step4:Practice

1.Sentence play(句型闯关) 学生领读句型,感受句型的汉译。

2.Role play(男女分角色读句子)

3.PK读句子。

Step 5:Group work

1. Look at the 3 pictures, then describe the pictures.

2.Say out the sentences in the front of the classroom.

3.Look at the pictures,say and write.
