本课是新标准一年级起点第三册第七模块的第一单元。在这之前,学生们已经学过了一些有关于交通工具的单词,如bus, bike, car.本课在此基础上学习句型How do you go to school? I go to school by... /I walk to school.来询问和描述上学的方式。本课出现了上班方式,以及主语单三人称情况下的用法,但这些不是本课的重点,可以酌情处理。二、学情分析

对于二年级学生来说,学生们已经具备了英语基础知识与较强的语言技能学习能力,模仿、记忆能力较强。本课教学内容直接贴入学生生活实际,学生有一定的生活经验,学起来不应该很困难。所以,本课采取了活动、游戏等形式激发学生的兴趣,调动了学生的积极性,使学生在真实的情境中学习,感受所学的知识,并真正地把它运用到实际中。

三、教学目标

1.语言知识

(1)功能:询问和回答到学校的交通方式

(2)语法:全体学生能够运用:How do you go to school? I go to school by bus. I walk to school.

部分学生运用:He goes to work by bike.

(3)词汇:全体学生能理解单词:how, train, bus, by,walk,goes, work, bike, with 全体学生能运用单词: how, bus, by,walk

部分学生能运用单词: train, How about…? goes, work, go to work, bike, with.

(4)语音:感知英语拟声词

2.语言技能目标

(1)听:全体学生能听懂:How do you go to school? I go to school by …/ I walk to school. How about your father? He goes to work by bike.

(2)说:全体学生能听说:How do you go to school? I go to school by …/ I walk to school. How about your father? He goes to work by bike.

(3)读:全体学生能认读:how, bus, by, walk

部分学生能认读:train, How about…? goes, work, go to work, bike, with (4)写:全体学生能拼写:father, mother, bus

VCD光盘,PPT课件,单词卡片。

六、教学过程

(一)复习导入Warm-up and lead in(5 分钟)

1. Sing a song.

教师带领学生演唱以前的歌曲“The doctor on the bus”。教师和学生一起边做动作边演唱歌曲。

2. Lead in. “Look and say.”

T: What’s the sound of the bus like?

Ss: Woo…. Boo…

T: Now let’s look at Sam and Daming. 他们在演什么交通工具呢?Listen!

3. Learn and act the transportations:

Listen to the sound and guess the vehicle.(听声音,猜一猜交通工具)

1)火车声:T:Can you guess what’s it?

Ss: train

T: so clever. Can you read this word? “rain”? How about this word “train”?

Ss: train (一个接一个读师板书)

2)公共汽车声:T: Guess what’s this?

Ss: bus (评价)

T: Can you read this word“but”? How about this word“bus”

T: b b b /b//b//b//b∧//b∧//b∧/ bus.(板书)

3)其它交通工具

【设计意图】以旧带新,复习前一课知识,同时运用歌曲中的bus引出本课要学习的交通工具的主题,并且让他们用动作和声音来学习train, bus,还让他们拟声表演其它熟悉的交通工具。

(二)任务呈现Task presentation(3 分钟)

T: Here are five friends: Fuwa. They want to know how we go to school? Can you tell?

Ss: …

T提出任务: Today let’s talk about the transportations that we use to go to school. 我们今天学习用英语询问并回答上学的方式。我们还要与小福娃们一起交流与分享。

【设计意图】自然的导入,使学生能自然地接受新知。为学生们呈现可爱的福娃,让他们跟随喜爱的卡通人物一起接受本课任务,并为接下来的操练活动做好铺垫。

(三)课文学习Text learning(15 分钟)

1: Listen and watch.

教师提出问题:How do they ask about the transportations to school? 他们是如何询问别人怎样上学的?

Ss: How do you go to school?

T 板书

T: Can you read this word “cow”?

How about this word“how”?(一个接一个读)

Can you read the whole sentence?(开火车读,师板书整句话)

Follow me“How do you go to school?”(跟读)

2: listen and repeat.

教师提出问题:How do they go to school? 他们是如何去上学的?

1) Ss: I go to school by bus. (板书)(开火车读)

T: You two please, one asks and one answers. (手势)

T:You are Lingling, how do you go to school?(PPT 出示)

Ss: I walk to school. (板书)

T:walk, walk, walk

Do actions and say “I walk to school.”

2) Look at the PPT and talk about “He goes to school by bus”

3. Listen and imitate.

教师接着问:How about Lingling’s father and Tom?

T Shows card “How about” and practice to read.

1) Ss: He goes to work by bike.

T shows “walk”and “work”, 注意发音不同

小声到大声:“He goes to work by bike.”

2) T: How about Tom?

Ss: He goes by bus with his mother.

T shows the card “with”

3) Look at the PPT and talk about “He/she goes to work by…”

(四)训练巩固Practice(10 分钟)

1. Chant. 将重点单词和句型自编成小chant

2. Pair work.

A: How do you go to school?

B: I go to school by.. / I walk to school.

3.Talk about how Fuwa goes to school: “… goes to school by …”

【设计意图】通过节奏明快的小chant,把本课重点单词和句型巩固操练;通过pair work,将本课重点语句运用于实际生活中;再通过描述福娃的上学方式,让学生们尝试单三人称的运用,三个活动层层递进。

(五)任务完成Task completion(5 分钟)

T: Ask your classmates how they go to school and fill in the forms. Then report in front of the class.

【设计意图】通过小组内询问并回答彼此的上学方式,使孩子们在真切的情境中运用英语。此外,在小组活动中,大大增强了孩子们的合作意识,树立了学英语用英语的自信心。(六)小结与布置作业Summary and homework(2 分钟)

1. Summary.

让学生先来说一说本节课学习的内容,教师最后进行总结性的概括。

2. Homework.

(1) 熟读课文, 尝试和小朋友们表演课文。

(2) 用英语询问更多的朋友是如何上学的,询问父母是如何上班的。
