The students of grade three are in the stage of starting English, so we can grasp this trait that they are interested in it to develop their ability of studying English. And we can make students enjoy study process by making use of students’ interests to song and game.

Lead-in 1. To make students listen to a song(number song)

2. To ask students the following questions: Do you like this song? Do you want to learn to sing this song? If you want to study it, you must learn to some number words firstly. Step2

Formal learning 1.

To show some cartoon pictures about numbers on the screen, make students read them in Chinese and ask students some questions. ---Do you know these numbers? ---And then, do you want to know how to read it in English. 2. To help students learn to read these number words accurately by reading after me repeatedly and effectively. 3. To show some number cards and cartoon pictures on the screen and ask students the following question in order to consolidate these number words. ( from zero to five)

---How many people in this picture? 4. To show some number cards again and make students read it. Then, to make students learn to a phrase on the basis of grasping these number

words deftly. ( number one.) 5. To play a game

To number off ( one to five as a group) and ask students to write down their own numbers that they said just now. 6. Quick quiz
