Part C Story time

学习目标：

能够在图片的帮助下理解故事内容，复习巩固单元核心句型when is ...r?It's in …? 2.

能够理解并结伴模仿朗读或表演故事。

课前准备：多媒体课件人物头套各一个。

学习过程：

Step1. Pre-reading 1. Greeting 2. Free talk and review the main sentence patterns. 3. Presentation: talk about some pictures of the story and ask some questions to arouse Ss’ interests.

Step2. While-reading 1.

Fast reading: Ss read the text quickly, and find out the answer to the question: When is the rabbit's birthday? Then Ss try to raise questions about the story.

Careful listening: learn and imitate the story picture by picture. Get the question to the key: Can Zoom watch TV with cat together? 3.

Ss watch the video and repeat the story.

Step3. Post-reading

Role-play the story.

Number the sentences to check students’ understanding. 3.

(Up to time and the Ss’

ability) Try to make a new story with the partner orally according to the pictures and words given. Then show the story for the class.

Step4. Summary Give a name for the story.

Step5. Homework
