2. 学生能在情境中听懂、会读、会说词汇clean the car, sweep the floor, clean the table, wash the dishes，能在情境中会读、会说句型What are you / they doing? What is he / she doing?及回答I am / They are / He is / She is ~ing. 3. 学生通过学习能够初步地感知现在进行时的表达及其结构。

4. 学生能够学会帮助家人做家务，互相帮助。

【教学过程】

Step 1. Sing and do

Step 2. Play a game T: Well, what is the bear doing? Do you remember? Let’s play a game.

Rules: If it is the things that the bear is doing, please say loudly and do it. If it is not, please clap your hands twice. Step 3. Let’s read

T: The bear is doing a lot of things. Please pay attention to the red words.

Step 4. Say and do T / Ss: I am ~ing. I am ~ing. Step 5. Story time 以时间为线索，将课文分为两部分进行教学。

【In the morning】

1. Watch and choose What are Mike and Helen doing?

Teach: parents= Father and mother

Ss watch the cartoon. （揭题：helping our parents）

2. Read and find

1) What are Mike and Helen doing? Read Picture 1 and underline the key sentences. Teach: clean the car; cleaning the car

Teach: sweet→sweep; sweep the floor; sweeping the floor

2) Why are Mike and Helen helping their parents? Teach: busy ①

What are their parents doing? Read Part 1 quickly ②

What is Dad doing? He is cleaning the car. What is Mum doing? She is cooking breakfast.

Teach: cook breakfast

3) Is Tim helping their parents? No, he is sleeping ( with the dog). 3. Chant 4. Read Picture 1 after the tape.

5. Try to retell

【In the afternoon】

1. Guess T: In the afternoon, Mike’s cousin Jim comes. What are they doing in the afternoon?

Maybe … is ~ing.

Teach: wash the dishes; washing the dishes 2. Listen and match 3. Check with partner. Use ‘What is ... ~ing?’

and ‘He / She is ~ing.’ to ask and answer.

Teach: What is … ~ing? He / She … ~ing.’

4. Check together Ss ask and answer: What is Mike / Helen / Tim / Jim doing? He / She is ~ing. 5. Read Picture 2-3 after the tape. 6. Let’s talk

Sx: Mum / Mike / Helen / Tim / Jim is ~ing. T: Tim and Jim are doing the same thing.

We also can say ‘Tim and Jim are watching TV and eating fruit.’

7. Guess The dinner is ready. Where is Dad? What is he doing?

Guess: I think he is …

Mike and Helen help their parents. Do you often help your parents? Please help your parents with housework and love each other. 3. Look and say 出示Su Hai、Li Yang、Nancy、Liu Tao正在做家务的图片，让学生说说他们正在做的事。

4. Help each other 出示班级同学正在互相帮助的图片，让学生说说。
