1、单词“glasses”要用复数的原因。

多媒体，录音机，课件

五、教学过程

Step1. Warm-up T: Good morning, boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning, Miss Jin. T: How are you today? Ss: Fine, thank you. And you? T: I ＇m fine ,too. T: Now let ＇t sing the song “Friends”. Play the tape for the Ss to listen and sing the song. (复习学过的歌曲“Friends”,增加课堂英语学习气氛。）

Step2. Presentation Choose two students, a boy and a girl. Ask them to come to the front of the class. T: Look! This is S1./I have a friend, S1. He is tall. He has short hair. He has glasses. His glasses are blue. He has a green bag. Get Ss to guess the meaning. Ask them to talk about him.(thin/strong) Explain to the Ss why we should say “glasses”,but not “glass”. T: Look! This is S2./I have another friend, S2. She is short. She has long hair. Her shoes are brown. Ask Ss to say if she is strong or thin.

Present the new words on the blackboard.(brown shoes, blue glasses, long hair, short hair, a green bag) Teach Ss the new words. Present the sentences that describe the two students on screen. Then ask Ss to work in pairs. One describe his/her friend in our class .The other guess who he/she is. Remind them to use the sentences: He/She is... He/She has... Ask some pairs to act out for the class. (设计意图：利用班里的学生，使学生学习描述外貌的句型和词语，创设真实情景，亲切自然。结对活动让学生描述班内好友，另一同学猜，增加真实性和趣味性。）

Step3. Let ＇t learn Get Ss to look at the picture on the screen. T: Look! Who are they? Ss: They are ... Play the tape for the Ss to listen and repeat. Ask Ss to look at the picture again and talk about the people in pairs. Remind them to use the sentences:

He/She is... He/She has... His/Her glasses/shoes are... Present the sentence patterns on the blackboard. Invite some students to talk about the people. Step4. Say and draw Ask Ss to work in pairs. One describe his/her friend. The other draw a picture according to the description. Remind them to use the sentences: He/She is ... He/She has... Ask several students to show the pictures to the class. (两人一组，一个说朋友的特点，一个按其说的画画，激发学习兴趣。）

Step5. Summary Sum up the lesson. New words. Target Language. Step6. Homework 1. Listen and read the sentences in Let ＇t learn three times each. 2. Write some sentences to describe your father and your mother. Use the sentences: He/She is ... He/She has...

教学反思：本节学习谈论人物外貌，我利用本班学生自己进行教学，创设真实情境，学生感到亲切自然，易于接受且印象深刻。课堂气氛活跃，学生积极性高，学习效果好。个别学生开口较少，课后，我让学会的同学陪其再练结对活动。
