Unit3 Our animal friends （Story time）

一．教学目标

a.知识目标：

1.学生能听懂、会读、会说单词arm,body,foot,leg,tail,wing;理解one…the

other…的含义。

2.学生能听懂、会读、会说日常用语I/We/They have…He/She/It has.., 并会用这些句型来描述人物或动物特征。

b.能力目标：

1.学生能够正确理解文本，灵活运用本课句型描述自己的朋友。

2.学生能够掌握阅读技巧，提高阅读能力。

c.情感态度目标：

引导学生关爱身边的动物朋友，构建人和动物和谐共处的生态意识。

二．教学重难点

a.教学重点

能正确理解并朗读对话内容，在教师的引导和帮助下复述课文内容。

b.教学难点

能正确使用句型I/We/They have…It has…It can…描述小动物。

PPT、卡片、头饰、作业纸

四．教学过程

Step1 Warm-up 1.Greeting T: Good morning, everyone. Ss: Good morning, Miss Li. T: How are you today?

Ss: Fine, thank you, and you? T: I’m fine, too.

T: Boys and girls, do you like animals? Ss: Yes, I do. T: I like animals too. Before the new lesson, let’s enjoy a song about animals, Ok? Ss: Ok. （生观看视频）

T: Do you like this song? Ss: Yes. T: I like the song. It is very interesting. Now can you answer the question: What animal friends can you see in the song? Ss: A cat. /A dog. /A bird. /Two fish. /A rabbit. T: You’re right. All of you have good memories. What can they do? (Can you tell us? /Who knows? Hands up.) Ss: The dog can run. / The cat can jump. /The rabbit can run. /The fish can swim…（can,表示能力，为下面It can...句型的学习做准备）

T: Wonderful! Do you know why they can do that? Look at the pictures, try to follow me. The fish can swim. They have tails_.... (教授tail, leg, wing.) T: Ok, now, show me your hands, and chant it with me.

The fish can swim. They have tails.

The dog can run. They have legs. The bird can fly. They have wings. They’re all our friends. T: Great! Today let’s learn Unit3 Our animal friends. (师带读，揭题) Step2 Story time Lead-in

T: Look! Our old friends are talking about their animal friends. who are they? Ss: They are Nancy, Mike, Liu Tao and Su Hai. Part1 1.Watch and match T: Everyone has different animal friends, what are their animal friends?

They don’t tell us. Please watch the cartoon, then try to answer my questions. （生观看视频，尝试回答问题）

T: Q1: What animal friends do they have? Try to match it. （生边连线边说）

2.Let’s read and tick（Tick the right answers）

T: Well done. How does Nancy talk about her fish? Please read the part 1 by yourselves, then try to choose the right answers. If you have any difficulties, you can work in pairs. Go! （生自读课文）

T: What do Nancy’s animal friends have? Let’s tick.

Ss: Big eyes, big bodies, and big tail. （师和生一起填空）

T: Do they have any arms or legs? Ss: No.

Generally , ‘Or’

is used in the negative sentences. But ‘and’

is used in the assertive sentences. （教授or 和

T: Q2: What can the fish do? Ss: They can swim. T: Well done. Let’s listen the tape again, and repeat it. （播放录音，学生跟读）

T: You can read the last two parts loudly, then fill in the form. T: What color? Ss: Yellow and green. T: What does the parrot have? Ss: Two legs, two wings, a big mouth, a big tail.

T: What can it do? Ss: It can talk and fly. 3.Listen and imitate Ss repeat paragraph 3 and 4with the tape. 3.Read the whole story freely（生自主选择阅读方式朗读课文）

Step3 Consolidation 1. Try to retell T: Now let’s enjoy the whole story, you can choose one animal friend to describe . Of course, you can retell the whole story. （生到讲台前表演，边看图边复述课文中的四种动物朋友）

3.Guessing time T: Now, my dear, please describe your animals for us, the others guess. Understand? Eg: I have an animal friend. It is yellow. It has two wings. It has big feet. What is it? Ss: A duck. T: You’re so smart. Now it’s your turn.（生表演：描述自己的动物朋友，其他学生猜）

Step4 Enjoy a short video T: Let’s enjoy a short movie. It’s about our wild animal friends. They are in danger. Because of the environmental pollution, they become less and less. We should protect our environment. Animals are our friends, we need to protect them and love them.
