Step 1. Class Opening and Review ( 5

min) 1 Greeting

T: Hello, boys and girls.

S: Hello, teacher.

T: How are you today?

S: I’m fine, thanks. 2 Introduce your friends S1: This is my friend-Tom. He always goes to school on foot. His house is near the school. S2: This is my friend-Marry. She likes to read. She always goes to library to read books. 【设计意图】通过介绍自己的朋友，复习频度副词的用法引出本课的主人公，让学生对本课的内容产生了好奇，为更好的学习本故事做好铺垫。

Step 2. Presentation and Practice ( 20 min) 1 教师出示本课故事中的人物Al

2教师出示picture1 提问，学生回答。

2 教师出示picture3、picture4 and picture5 提问，介绍故事
