Lesson 13: Seasons 教学设计

教材分析:

本单元的话题是四季。本课需要学习有关四季的四个名词winter, spring, summer, autumn和四季的不同特征以及put on, take off 两个动词短语。本课的特点是描述四季的不同特征,讨论在不同季节所穿戴不同的服装,本课可以与本单元及四年级曾经学过的12个月份和表示天气的单词整合在一起。

学情分析:

六年级学生已经有了一定的逻辑思维能力和认知能力,学生已经掌握了有关天气和服装的单词,又有以前对How’s the weather? 的学习做铺垫,谈论四季学生感兴趣的话题,再有在多媒体及各种教学手段的吸引下,学生容易进入状态,从而喜学、乐学。学生学习本课时的问题我认为主要在于是否能够灵活运用所学的知识。

教学目标:

1、知识目标:

(1)能听说读写单词及短语:winter,spring,summer,autumn,put on,take off . (2)能听说并认读单词:hat,scarf, winter coat, shorts, T-shirt, trousers, sweater。

2、能力目标:

(1)培养学生的听说读写单词的能力及运用所学进行交际的能力。

(2)能根据所学,会用

I put on __________. I take off ________. 说出一年四季穿什么衣服,脱下什么衣服。

(3)能根据所学,让学生能够用英语描述各个季节的特征。

3、情感目标:

让学生了解不同的季节穿不同的衣服,培养学生对日常生活知识的了解。

教学重点:

(1)能听说读写单词:winter,spring,summer,autumn,

put on,take off . (2)能够用语言描述四季的不同特征,谈论不同季节里的天气、服装。

教学难点: 能正确使用单词和语法对四季的不同特征进行描述。

教具学具准备:多媒体课件

教学过程:

Step 1: Warming up 1. Greetings T:Hello, boys and girls.

2、The months song. T:Today I bring a song for you. Let's sing together.

(设计意图:用欢快的歌曲,引学生入英语课堂,以旧引新。) T:The song is about the months. Let’s look what they are. S:January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December.

(设计意图:引导学生按顺序说出月份的单词,为学新知识做好铺垫) Step 2: Presentation:

1. Learn part 1 (1)winter, spring, summer, autumn, seasons T:Very good! There are 12 months in a year. Now look carefully,I divide them into four groups. Here are four seasons in a year. This class we will learn Lesson13 Seasons.(板书) (设计意图:介绍一年12个月,为新课“四季”做准备,帮助孩子建立新旧知识之间的联系。) T:出示图片This is winter. There is ice and snow. How do you feel in winter?

Ss: I feel cold.

T: How's the weather in winter?

S: It’s cold and snowy.

T: Yes, it’s cold and snowy.

师领学生读句子。指名读。遮盖重点单词再读句子。

(设计意图:通过图片让学生掌握winter这个单词,并通过教师的描述,让学生感知冬天的气候特征,并由单词过渡到句子,引导学生说出完整的句子。) T:出示春天的图片及单词spring T:Who wants to read this word? Have a try! Be brave!

T:How’s the weather in spring?

Ss: It’s warm and rainy. T: There are new leaves and flowers.

T: Leaves, read follow me. Flowers, read after me. 师领学生读句子。指名读。遮盖重点单词再读句子。

(设计意图:通过图片教授spring,让学生反复拼读,并让学生掌握,

通过教师的描述,让学生感知春天的气候特征,并由单词过度到句子,引导学生说出完整的句子。)

T:出示图片及单词summer.

Who can read this word?

Ss: Summer.

T: The summer sun is hot. T:How’s the weather in summer? S: It’s hot and sunny. T: What a hot, sunny day! 师领学生读句子。指名读。遮盖重点单词再读句子。

T:出示图片及单词autumn. Read after me,please. Ss: Autumn.

T: How’s the weather in autumn?

S: It’s cool and windy. T: Autumn is cool. The leaves turn red and yellow. 解释turn 师领学生读句子。指名读。遮盖重点单词再读句子。

Winter, spring, summer and autumn are seasons. There are four seasons in a year.领读并板书winter, spring, summer, autumn,seasons (2). Let’s match: 将季节特征与相应的季节连起来并朗读。

(3).Read Part 1 by yourself.

(4).Describe the seasons 生抽卡片并描述相应的季节

(设计意图:进一步激发学生的学习兴趣,巩固刚才学习的一年四季相关单词及句子。)

2.Part 2: Different clothes for different seasons ①put on, take off T:The weather is different in different seasons,so we wear different clothes in different seasons. Now, let’s go to a clothes shop. What is it? S:hat, scarf, winter coat, dress, shorts , T-shirt, trousers, sweater ……

(设计意图:复习旧知,为新句子的学习做准备。) T:Good!做冷的动作,I feel cold today. I put on my winter coat. “Put on. Read after me,please.”(教师把事先准备好的衣服穿上。让学生理解“put on”的含义。)

T:Who can say it?S: Put on. S: Put on.……

(设计意图:找自告奋勇的学生进行朗读,加深和强化学生记忆。) T:Now I feel hot. I take off my winter coat. “Take off. Read after me,please.”

(教师把衣服脱下来。让学生理解“take off”的含义。)

T:

Who can say it?S: Take off. S: Take off. ……

(设计意图:找自告奋勇的学生进行朗读,加深和强化学生记忆。) 教师板书“put on”和“take off”并引导学生用“put on”和“take off”说完整的句子。

例如:I put on my hat in winter. I take off my sweater in summer. etc. (设计意图:让学生练习“put on”和“take off”的用法。)

②Practice I put on__________ in ____________. I take off___________ in ___________. ③Listen Part 2 and answer the questions What does Jenny put on in winter? What does Jenny take off in spring? What does Jenny put on in summer? NowListen to the tape.

④Read part 2 then ask the students to read. ⑤Play a game: send the baby snowman home (设计意图:通过这个分类游戏使学生更好的掌握和巩固本课所学的单词,另外这个游戏画面生动,能够更好地激发学生的学习兴趣)

Now let’s look at the scores, Group1 and Group5 are both 11 points. So the winners are Group1 and Group5. Congra Step 3:Homework Draw your favourite season. And say something about your favourite season and then write it down. (设计意图:通过让学生动手,进一步巩固前面所学的描述季节的句子,训练学生的口语表达能力及写作能力,也是本课成功与否的检验。)
