教材分析

本教材是科教版2011年修订三年级起点，六年级下册Module 5, Unit9 Where will you go ?六年级下册是小学阶段的最后一册，为了让教师能有足够的时间帮助学生梳理、复习整个小学阶段所学的内容，打下扎实的基础，为进入初中阶段做好准备，在本册教材的编排上编者做了一些变动，主要是删减了两个单元的内容，原来的两个阶段复习（期中和期末）改为两个对小学所有教学内容的总体复习单元

学情分析

学生学习这套教材有一定难度。教学内容注意由简到难，循序渐进，在知识的复现中做好及时补差工作。充分培养学生的听说读写能力，尤其要加强识读，拼写的能力。重视阅读能力和写作能力的同步培养。重视英语作为语言的交际功能

教学重点及难点

教学重点：(1) 教材中出现的国家、首都、国旗和代表建筑、风物等。
