When is Easter?

教学内容：Unit4 When is Easter? ( Part C Story time ) 学情分析

对于小学五年级学生来说，他们已经有了一定的英语基础，经过一二年级的攀登英语的学习，三四年级的学***多数学生有一定的英语语言接受和表达能力，词汇量有一定的储备，能进行简单的口语交流，对教师的课堂指令和体态语言己有相当好的反应。学生学习兴趣较浓，积极性较高，但也有少数学生对语言的认知能力不强，缺乏一定的学习能力，反应较迟缓有待进一步提高。学生对日期的表达还不够流利。

教学目标

1.

能够正确认读单词，如：worry,practise,need等。进一步巩固序数词的用法。

2.

能够掌握句型：

The singing test will be on.../Will you...?/Sorry, I can’t./Certainly./Of course./Practice makes perfect./I need more practice.

3.

能够听懂读懂并内化Part C部分Story time的内容。

4.

能够掌握良好的阅读策略，并提高自主学习能力。

5.

培养善于发现自我的能力和乐于助人的良好品质。

教学重点

1.

能够自我本单元涉及的有关序数词和句型，并灵活运用到具体的语境中。

2.

正确区分基数词和序数词的用法。

能够朗读故事，能够在教师的帮助下表演故事，提高学生综合运用英语知识的能力。

教学难点

能够掌握基本的阅读策略，并吧本单元的词汇、句型运用到具体的语境中。

教师准备多媒体课件、头饰。

教学过程

Step1 Warm-up and review

Read the following words in the table.(巩固学过的基数词和序数词

Game:头脑风暴

3.找一找

A: Where is the ...? B: It’s on the ___floor.

T: Will you find the music room?/Certainly/Of course/Sorry, I can’t.引出主要句式：Practice makes perfect. You need more practice. 教学设计意图：以轻松愉快的“找一找”游戏和“讲绕口令”游戏，复习了已学过的序数词，并且在真实情景中渗透主要句式：Will you...？/Certainly/Of course/Sorry, I can’t. Practice makes perfect. I/You need more practice.这样的安排激发了学生的学习兴趣，又为下面的学习做了一定的铺垫。

二．Step2 Presentation 1. 教师出示PPT，播放一些动词短语，play ping-pong,go swimming,watch TV,clean the room等，引导学生做动作，学习以上句式。

2. Today our friends Zoom and Zip come here again. ：在正式阅读前，把新知识点带入具体情景中学习，操练，为顺利扫清障碍，分布降低了整篇故事表演的难度，呈现由易到难逐层递进那个，并且“换组员”的设计增加了阅读操练的趣味性，学生学习热情高涨，乐于参与到这种多变的学习模式中。
