Step 1.预习温故(用时5分钟）

Free talk T: When is the sports meet in our school?In which season?Which month?（重点解释sports meet）They will have a sports meet,too. Let’s listen,tick the right answer. 播放Let’s try录音，选择答案，师生一起核对答案。再次播放录音。

Step 2.

新课内容展示（用时20分钟）

Let’s

talk 1）讲解重难点单词及短语“few”“thing”“sports meet”“Easter party”“school trip”，并板书，让学生操练这些短语。

2）Listen to the tape,answer some questions.

T: How many festivals have you heard?（听短文回答问题）

S s：Three. They are sports meet, Easter party and school trip.(学生可看到书自己寻找答案) T：When is the sport meet/ Easter party/school trip? S s: It’s in……

教师核对答案。

3）播放Let’s talk录音，学生带着问题听：What does Mike have after the sports meet? 提问学生，师生一起核对答案。

4）Listen again, fill in the blanks, then talk.出示表格，显示月份填活动。

5）Read the“Let’s talk”

after the tape three times. 注意升降调。

6）Role play:两人一组，练习对话，随后抽小组成员表演对话，师生共评。

7）Find some other fun things in summer/winter/autumn, then talk. Write and talk 1)

T:What is the school trip?/Chinese test?/singing contest……？S：It’s in ……

然后四人一组，两两互相询问，并做笔记，最后小组派一名代表总结回答。
