Step 1 Greeting T: Good morning, boys and girls.

T: Welcome to our English class . Ok,look at these words .Can you do them?(复习动词过去式)

She was born in 1880. 2. Where was Helen Keller born?

She couldn't see or hear. 4. What did the teacher do for Helen?

She drew letters in Helen's hand and taught her to spell .(then read the text)The teacher read and the students Read after it. Part B Listen to the radio and read the text. Then fill the blanks . Later Helen learnt to read, write and speak. She wrote a book about herself and travelled all over the world . Helen lived to be eighty-seven .She is a role model for blind people ,and also for you and me. Ask students to fill in the blanks.Then check the answers together.
