一、Analysis of the learning situation：

Although students in grade five have studied English for two years, voice learning is still a weak link for them. Most students have mastered the pronunciation of the 26 letters, but a small number of students are still in a state of confusion.

二、Analysis of teaching content: The students have learned the length of the phonetic alphabet, and also learned the EA /i:/ EE /i:/. Some of the excellent students have mastered the rules of the pronunciation , and can lead the weak students to learn. 三、Teaching aims: 1.Enable students know the pronunciation of letters“ oo” in the words;

2.Make students can sum up the rules of the pronunciation of letters“ oo”;

3.Cultivate the students’ language learning skills

Warm-up and Revision Greetings T:Good mornig,boys and girls.I am so happy today.I want to sing a song with you ,OK? Ss: OK! T:From the song ,we can review the pronunciation of 26 letters. Can you find out some words catain letters “oo”? Ss:Yes. T:OK.Let’s chant. Step 2

Presentation

S4:too T:You are so clever. Boys and girls ,please put the words into the right basket.(/u/or/u:/) You can discuss with your partner. 2.I show Let’s spell in the PPT and give them an examples. book

In other words(look,football,good,food,balloon,noodles),let the students practice and find the rules with their partner. And then,I will check the pronunciation of some students. Later,I ask all the studens to read the words one by one. After that, I show the words with letters “oo” ,I can show more words that pronounce /u//u:/.And I ask them to practice. Step 3

Practice In this part ,I design 3 games to practice. Game 1:Read aloud

1.Guess the words according to the pronunciation of letters “oo”and the first letter. 2.I ask them read it one by one. Game 2:Find home

1.I ask Ss to classify the words according to the pronunciation rules: /u/ and /u:/. After the group members to discuss the results. 2.The whole class do it again. Game 3:Listen,cirle and say

这节课学习的内容是字母组合oo的发音，我通过“A is for Apple”这首歌曲复习了26个字母的发音，这正好为本节课做铺垫，在一定的程度

上减少了后进生的学习难度，为了避免一味地按序呈现、机械跟读，我以一首含有许字母组合oo单词的歌谣来做练习，以旧引新的方式，自然、流畅地引入新课。在课堂中，我使用了自然拼读法、讨论法、练习法和探究法，从多方位多角度来进行教学，激发学生学习的动机和兴趣，有效调控学生的学习过程，增强学生的自信心，让学生在课堂中体验成功的喜悦，获得进取的力量，分享合作的成功果实，发现学习英语的奥妙和乐趣。
