一．教学目标和要求

1.能听懂、会说：What’s her name? Her name is …/She likes …并进行实际运用。

2.能听懂：Boy or girl?以及其它带有or的句子。

3.会说

Let’s chant中的歌谣。

二．教学重难点

1.区分What’s her name?与What’s his name?并能正确使用。

2.he,his;she,her的正确使用。

三．学情分析

四年级学生具有好奇心强，爱表现自己的特点。对于从一年级开始学习英语的他们，已经具备了一定的基本知识和技能，对于常用的课堂用语和教师指令已经基本掌握，能在图片或多媒体课件的帮助下能听懂、读准英语单词和句子，在教师的指导下能做一系列任务活动。 本课时的对话内容能激起学生兴趣，通过“猜一猜”等课堂活动能让孩子更积极参与到谈论朋友的话题中，让学生在学习英语的同时，还能实际生活中学以致用。

四．教学过程

活动一：Greeting: Hello, boys and girls.

Nice to see you. How are you today? 活动二：Warm-up This class we’re going to learn Unit 3《My Friends》. So at the beginning, let’s sing the song 《My Friends》. Good job. Class, I have some friends in our class. Let’s guess: What’s his name? OK? 课件：一张学生遮脸的照片

T：What’s his name?

S1：His name is … He has … He likes …

生猜对，师引导其他生评价：You’re right. 继续游戏

【通过歌曲调动学生热情。游戏环节结合学生身边的朋友来开展，既吸引了学生的注意力，又复习了相关知识。】

活动三：Presentation We have many friends. Look. Chen Jie and John are talking about their friends too. But who are their friends?

Now let’s watch the cartoon together.学生看对话的动画视频,引导学生说出听到的内容. 老师提出和对话内容有关的4个问题，引导学生带着问题观看对话视频。

回答问题，检查学生是否理解对话含义。

【结合学习语言的规律，从锻炼听力开始，分层次呈现对话，利于学生更好的理解对话内容。】

出示对话的文字内容，教读，并讲解对话中的知识点：

（1）Boy or girl? T: Here the short word “or” means: to make a choice from some choices. It should be used in the question sentences and negative sentences.

T: Big or small?

T：Tall or short?

S: Short. 课件：一个宝宝

T: Young or old?

S: Young. 指着一个女生：Boy or girl?

S: A girl. （2）What’s her name? Her name is Amy. T: Please pay attention to these sentences. They are the most important sentences in this class. “Her” means something belong to a girl. Just like “his”

means the things belong to a boy. It’s an adjectival possessive pronoun. It should be followed by a noun. For example: a book belongs to Amy. We can say “her book”. A girl’s name, we can say “her name”. Can you give me more adjectival possessive pronouns? 师说名词性物主代词，引导学生说出对应的形容词性物主代词his/your/my/its/their等。

教读句子，师生简单问答。

【结合实际对身边同学的名字进行对话问答，巩固所学内容，加深学生理解。】

角色朗读、表演对话：师生、生生之间等形式。

Game:

课件出示一些人物图片和相关信息，例如姓名，特征，爱好等。

S1面向同学，课件显示一个人物的图片和信息。通过同学们的描述，S1猜图片上的人物。

如：S1:Boy or girl? S: A girl? S1: What’s her name? S: She’s strong. She likes singing. S1: Her name is Fiona. S：You are right. 【游戏的开展不仅调动了学生的学习兴趣，并且帮助学生练习了主要语言点，进行语言的综合运用。】

活动四：Exercises (1)

根据图片所给信息，完成两段话的填空。

【通过听、写等形式，让学生对所学知识进行更深一步的理解和掌握。】

活动五：Extension

课件：列举一些相关的语言资源,使学生进行充分的语言拓展运用。

同学之间交流朋友的信息，并上台交流展示。

活动六：Let’s chant 听录音，学唱歌谣。

活动七：Arrange the homework Listen to the tape and remember the dialogue. Copy it. Describe your friends to your parents.
