EEC四年级下册Lesson 4 What about a Robot?

1、本单元设计意图:本单元设计的内容是为祝贺朋友的生日而购买礼物的情景。着重训练学生挑选和购买物品时的对话。
2、本单元学习目标 语言知识目标:学生能够学会有关场所的问答和学会使用征求对方的意见的用语。1.Where are you going? To the department store. 2. What about a robot? 语言技能目标:教师创设情境,学生在情境中学语言,学生能运用所学语言进行交际的能力。 学习策略目标:本课是以在商店里购买礼物为题材,过生日送礼物是学生最喜爱的活动,通过情景再现,能够培养学生的注意力,观察力,激发学生积极参与运用所学英语进行表达与交流以及在日常生活中的实际运用的能力。
3、学情分析 此年龄阶段的学生活泼好动,表现欲、参与欲非常强烈,喜欢直观形象思维,对歌曲、游戏、模仿特别感兴趣。对学习抱有单纯的求趣心理,对于自己感兴趣的东西就认真地学。就我校学生特点,以及针对以上的特点,课堂上一表扬为主,注意培养学生学习英语的兴趣,把知识融合在符合他们兴趣的任务活动中!
4、单元具体设计
根据课时安排我把本单元分4课时来完成教学。

What about a Robot?
Period 1 一、Teaching Aims:

Focus of the lesson: 1.理解课文整体的内容; 2. 会用简单的语言询问对方去哪儿,并可以简单回答!

4. 会用buy sb. sth. 来表述给某人买什么。

T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Step II : Presentation
Dived the class into two parts: Team 1 and Team 2 PK.

Let’s sing a song (星期的小歌曲) 设计意图:通一起唱星期歌曲的方式,来引出Ken’s birthday is on Monday.歌曲可以带动学生进入此次课堂,激发学生的学习积极性,更能调动学生的兴趣。

Show the picture of Ken, and the birthday cake. Let students say the sentence.
T: Ken’s/His birthday is on Monday. S: Together. T: Yes, look at this one. Whose birthday is it? (学生利用PPT操练,也可以通过自己的知识来补充。) 设计意图:
通过Ken’s birthday is on Monday. 让学生对于名词所有格,及以前学到的名词性物主代词的巩固练习,强调了星期之前要用on.开拓学生的思维,在复习中体现知识的内在的综合性,真正做到活学活用。
T: Ken’s birthday is coming. I want to buy him a present.
I want to buy him a present.
Then practice this sentence type with PPT 3. T: If I want to buy the present, where should I go? (1). T: Show a card of department store. (ppt1)
T: Where are you going, xxx?
S: To the department store. / I’m going to the department. (2). T: Where is he/she going?
S: To the hospital. /He/She is going to the hospital.
Practice in pairs. Check some pairs
T: Show the dialogue with a student.
S: Where are you going?
T: To the department store.
设计意图:通过买礼物,让学生接触到新单词department store.通过句子复习过渡到对话功能练习,让学生从实践中巩固,同时教师让学生自己主动总结此类句型,从被动到主动,形成完整的知识网络。

让学生找出这几个常用短语的和上面学习到的不同之处。
4. Show the PPT of the presents and to ask the questions win the smile face. 设计意图:通过买礼物,让学生选择礼品盒子,来答题。采用PK的方式,让学生相互促进中学到知识。活跃课堂气氛。和后面的相结合,起到评价的作用。
StepIII: Listening Test Ask students to listen and fill in the blanks. Li Li: Where ____ you going, Jess? Jess: ____the department_______. You _______.

设计意图:创设情境,以听力练习的方式让学生熟悉主要内容。训练学生听的过程中抓取信息的能力,及根据信息填空的能力。
StepIV: Consolidation Do the exercise in the paper.
