（一）语言知识目标

1 能“四会”掌握词汇:Mid-autumn Festival, Chongyag, Festival,during, Christmas, zongzi, race, “三会”掌握词汇：turkey, gather together, light lanterns.

2 能知道不同节日的传统食品和节日活动

3 能就节日展开话题进行交流

4 能正确描述自己喜爱的节日

（二）语言技能目标

1学生能就节日进行交流，发展口头表达能力

2通过对节日的描述提高写作能力。

（三）学习策略目标

通过听力、阅读和写作练习，结合比赛教学，加强对节日的认识，让学生运用所学知识积极地与他人进行交际。

（四）情感态度目标

激励评价，运用小组竞赛、个人评价等激励性语言以及各种奖励形式，调动学生学习积极性。

（五）文化意识目标

让学生通过对节日的认识，了解祖国的传统风俗习惯。

学习者分析

六年级的学生，有一定的英语学习基础，其中大部分同学对英语学习充满兴趣。节日是学生在生活中喜闻乐见的事物，学生对这些话题都很感兴趣，所以本节课设计了不同的环节，让学生能通过不同活动进行学习，发展口头、笔头能力。

教学过程。

（一）Warming up & Revision

1. Sing a song

2. A match: Listen to the music and say out the festivals(in English or Chinese)

（二）Presentation and Practice

1. Learn the new words and phrases

2. Listen to the tape and do Ex.1

3. Read(Repeat) the activities and match the festivals

4. Talk about the festivals in pairs
